'Cats work out Drummond, Robinson

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP)

Connecticut's Andre Drummond and Kansas' Thomas Robinson have worked out for Charlotte as the Bobcats make their evaluations before the June 28 NBA draft.

Drummond is 6-foot-10 and Robinson 6-foot-9, representing options if the Bobcats decide to take a big man with the second pick in the draft. Earlier in the week, the Bobcats worked out guard Bradley Beal of Florida and small forwards Michael Kidd-Gilchrist of Kentucky and Harrison Barnes of North Carolina.

Drummond averaged 10 points, 7.6 rebounds and 2.7 blocked shots as a freshman this past season. Robinson averaged 17.7 points and 11.9 rebounds as a junior and was a unanimous AP first-team All-America selection.

Joining Drummond and Robinson at Friday's workouts were Kent Bazemore and Chris Cooper of Old Dominion, Ramone Moore of Temple and Josh Owens of Stanford.
