News: Gallinari finished his first full season in Denver having averaged 14.6 points, 4.7 rebounds, 2.7 assists, and 1.0 steals in 43 games.
Impact: Gallinari was hampered by injuries for much of the year but was still able to produce fairly consistent numbers when healthy. He still disappeared at times (see Game 7 against the Lakers), but he, like many of his teammates, is still very young and still learning. It should be interesting to see if a solid offseason and good training camp make a difference in how fast these guys gel, and also whether or not Gallo gets the starting nod at small forward over Wilson Chandler.

News: Fernandez (back) finished an injury-plagued first season with the Nuggets averaging just 8.6 points and 2.4 assists in 31 games before being sidelined for the rest of the year because of back surgery.
Impact: Fernandez appeared to be his old streaky self even when he was healthy early in the year. With so much depth on the club at scoring guard and small forward, one has to wonder if Fernandez, who is now a restricted free agent, will even be pursued by the Nuggets, who seemed to function just fine without him.

News: Chandler averaged 9.4 points and 5.1 rebounds in just eight games with the Nuggets in 2011-12 before hip surgery left him on the injured list.
Impact: Chandler was late getting over to the states after signing a restrictive contract in China. When he did return he played just long enough to grab a new five-year, $37 million contract with the Nuggets before suffering the season-ending hip injury. All signs point to him being back for training camp, but whether he'll resume his role as the club's starting small forward is more in doubt with the emergence of Danilo Gallinari.

News: Brewer was a special surprise for the Nuggets in 2011-12 as he provided solid defense off the bench for much of the year along with 8.9 points, 2.5 rebounds, 1.5 assists, and 1.2 steals per game.
Impact: Brewer seemed like just a "throw-in" in the Carmelo Anthony deal last year, but he became a consistent contributor during the year and was a catalyst in the club's first-round near-upset of the Lakers. He has one year and just $3.24 million left on his contract, so expect him back next year in the same defensive stopper role.

News: Andersen's 2011-12 season turned out to be one to forget as he saw his playing time disappear and ended the year by getting investigated for internet crimes against children.
Impact: Andersen is not that far removed from averaging 6.4 points, 6.2 boards, and 2.5 blocks in a little over 20 minutes a night in 2008. We're not sure why he became the odd man out, but when Kenneth Faried blossomed into a better player than most expected, it was Andersen who suffered. Heading into the offseason there is significant speculation that the club won't be bringing Andersen back, especially if they sign JaVale McGee. We still think the guy can produce; he just needs the proper situation and, more importantly, to get cleared of any potential charges he might face this summer.

News: Afflalo finished the 2011-12 season with averages of 15.2 points, 3.2 rebounds, 2.4 assists, and 0.6 steals in 62 games for the Nuggets as their starting shooting guard.
Impact: Afflalo had an up and down year battling an early hamstring injury which plagued him on and off during the season. He did up his rebound (3.6) and assist (2.7) averages in the club's seven playoff games, but he shot just 40.5 percent from the field, including a horrid 20 percent from beyond the arc - compared with 47.1 and 39.8 percent, respectively, during the regular season. He will be back next year for sure and all signs point to him having a better year now that he'll have a full offseason and training camp to bond with so many new, young teammates, something he didn't get this past year.

News: The Nuggets want to re-sign Miller, the Denver Post reports.
Impact: "Do we want Andre back? Yes," Nuggets executive Masai Ujiri said Friday. "Collectively, the organization, ownerships, Coach Karl, teammates, we want Andre back. He was great for the team." He also said that, "Miller told us plain and simple that he wants to come back and play here." With both sides in agreement, it looks like the 36-year-old Miller will be in a Nuggets jersey again next season.

News: Harrington underwent surgery to fix a torn meniscus in his right knee on Wednesday. Harrington is expected to be back on the court in time for summer workouts.
Impact: A key reserve, Harrington hurt his knee in a win over the Orlando Magic on April 1, but played through the persistent pain down the stretch. He averaged 14 points and six rebounds during the regular season.

News: Harrington had surgery to repair a torn meniscus in his right knee, the Denver Nuggets' Official Twitter reports.
Impact: The surgery went well and Harrington is expected to be ready in time for the beginning of the 2012-13 season. He actually suffered the injury in April, and it might explain his poor performance in games 1-6 of Denver's first round series against the Lakers. Harrington did bounce back with a 24-point effort in Game 7, but the Nuggets still lost.

News: Douglas County sheriff's deputies have searched Andersen's home.
Impact: Sheriff's spokesman Ron Hanavan confirmed that the search took place Thursday as part of an investigation conducted by the department's Internet Crimes Against Children unit. Andersen has not been arrested and Hanavan said no arrest warrant has been issued.
