News: Faried scored 15 points (7-17 FG, 1-4 FT) and grabbed 13 rebounds Wednesday for his ninth double-double in his last 12 games.
Impact: Faried got better throughout the season, playing his best basketball in the month of April. In eight April games, he averaged 21.0 points and 13.0 rebounds while shooting 54.5 percent from the field.
News: Arthur was a DNP-CD for the team's final game of the season Wednesday.
Impact: Arthur was held out Tuesday as well. He suffered a knee strain/contusion Saturday, and the team decided to play it safe and hold him out for the final two games.
Anthony Randolph - #15 - Forward-Center - 6'11" - 225lbs
News: Randolph scored 19 points (6-9 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 4-4 FT) to go along with five rebounds, one assist and one steal in 19 minutes Wednesday against the Warriors.
Impact: Randolph ended the 2013-14 season on a positive note, after having received sporadic playing time and dealing with injuries all year. He tied his season high in points and got double digit minutes for only the fifth time since the beginning of March.
News: Foye scored 32 points (10-21 FG, 3-10 3Pt, 9-12 FT) and had 11 assists in 43 minutes against Golden State on Wednesday night.
Impact: The double-double was the second of the month for Foye and he's ended the year scoring at least 20 points in four of his last five games. He finished the year with 186 three-pointers, 11th most in the NBA.
News: Lawson (ankle) will not play Wednesday against the Warriors, the Denver Post reports.
Impact: Lawson will end the season missing the final six games, as he continues to nurse an ankle injury. He'll finish the year with averages of 17.6 points, 8.8 assists and 3.5 rebounds in 62 contests. Expect Aaron Brooks to continue to fill in as the starter.
News: Mozgov put up another double-double Tuesday, scoring 18 points (6-10 FG, 6-7 FT) and grabbing 11 rebounds in addition to two assists and one steal.
Impact: Mozgov has recorded three straight double-doubles, and has averaged 16.7 points and 9.7 rebounds in 30.6 minutes per game in April. Expect more of the same from him Wednesday against the Warriors.
News: Arthur was officially listed as a DNP-Coach's Decision for Tuesday's loss at the Clippers.
Impact: Arthur made the trip with the team to Los Angeles and was expected to be available to play, but did not make it into the game. Considering he was averaging around 20 minutes per game in April prior to Tuesday, it seems probable that he was held out because of the knee injury he suffered Saturday. Consider Arthur day-to-day and a game time decision for Wednesday season finale against the Warriors.
News: Chandler returned from a groin injury on Saturday, and with no lingering issues, will play on Tuesday, the Denver Post reports.
Impact: Chandler made the trip with the team to Los Angeles for the Nuggets' game on Tuesday against the Clippers, and as expected, should play. In his return on Saturday, Chandler scored just nine points, two rebounds, two assists, two steals, and one block in 21 minutes off the bench. If Chandler returns to the starting lineup on Tuesday, Quincy Miller will likely head to the bench.
News: Lawson (ankle) did not make the trip with the team to Los Angeles, and will miss Tuesday's game against the Clippers, the Denver Post reports.
Impact: There was hope that Lawson would be able to return before the end of the season, but with him being out Tuesday and his status for Wednesday being doubtful, that may not happen. While Lawson sits, Aaron Brooks will continue to start at point guard and provide good fantasy value for the final two games of the regular season.
News: Arthur (knee) made the trip with the team to Los Angeles, and is expected to play on Tuesday against the Clippers, the Denver Post reports.
Impact: Arthur suffered a left knee strain/contusion in Saturday's game and did not return. However, he made the trip with the team to Los Angeles and it appears as if he will be ready to play on Tuesday against the Clippers.

News: After hitting the game-winning shot for Denver on Thursday night, Faried followed it up with a 24-point, 21-rebound performance versus Utah on Saturday.
Impact: The performance marked the first 20-20 game for Faried in his career, but second in as many games for a Denver player. Center Timofey Mozgov had 23 points and 29 rebounds in Thursday's win over Golden State.
News: Faried scored 24 points (11-19 FG, 2-3 FT), pulled down a huge 21 rebounds, and added five assists in 42 minutes Saturday versus the Nuggets.
Impact: This marks Faried's first 20-20 game of the season and his eighth double-double in the last 10 games. He's turned around his season in the last month and is clearly benefiting from the banged-up Nuggets' frontcourt.
News: Mozgov backed up his monster game Thursday by posting 11 points (4-11 FG, 3-6 FT) and 10 rebounds in 33 minutes Saturday against the Jazz.
Impact: As the only true center on the roster, Mozgov should be a great source for frontcourt numbers down the stretch. In his last seven games, he's averaging 17.4 points, 9.6 rebounds and 1.4 blocks, while shooting 56 percent from the field. He's as close to a must-own player as there is at the moment.
News: Miller played only 14 minutes with Wilson Chandler returning, going scoreless on 0-2 shooting from beyond the arc, grabbing three rebounds and blocking two shots Saturday.
Impact: Miller's fantasy relevance will take a step down with Chandler returning and should now only have relevance in deeper leagues. Fantasy owners weren't getting massive production from him anyway, so now is as good as time as any to cut bait on the second-year player.
News: Chandler (groin) made his first appearance in 10 games, scoring nine points (3-7 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 2-2 FT) with two rebounds, two assists, two steals and one block in 21 minutes off the bench Saturday against the Jazz.
Impact: Chandler made his return to the lineup and wasn't his usual productive self. He should return to the starting lineup soon at the expense of Quincy Miller and will be a must-own player until season's end.
News: Arthur suffered a left knee strain/contusion in Saturday's game and won't return.
Impact: Arthur didn't score (0-1 FG) in two minutes before leaving the game. He's been a part of the Nuggets' bench squad, but his minutes may go to the recently returned Wilson Chandler.
News: Chandler (groin) will return to the court Saturday against the Jazz after missing 10 games, the Denver Post reports.
Impact: Chandler will play out the string, as the Nuggets are not involved in the playoff race. Since he's missed so much time, his minutes will likely be limited.
News: Brooks recorded eight points (3-14 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT), two rebounds, seven assists, and one steal in 39 minutes Thursday.
Impact: Brooks has been playing heavy minutes lately, averaging nearly 39 minutes a game over his last five contests, but should relinquish the starting point guard job soon as Ty Lawson (ankle) is expected to return to the lineup before the season ends.
News: Foye recorded 20 points (7-23 FG, 4-13 3Pt, 2-2 FT), seven rebounds, seven assists, one steal, and one block in 39 minutes Thursday.
Impact: Other than struggling from the field and missing nine three-point attempts; Foye had a solid game with 20 points and produced nicely in the rebound and assist categories as well. He's been a good source of assists lately, especially his 15-assist explosion Wednesday, but that may change with Ty Lawson (ankle) expected to return before the season ends.
News: Faried finished with 18 points (8-18 FG, 2-7 FT), 17 rebounds, one assist, and one steal in 33 minutes Thursday.
Impact: Faried hit the game-winning shot with half a second left to help the Nuggets beat the Warriors, and is now averaging 21.6 points and 12.8 rebounds in the month of April. Although the Nuggets aren't contending for a playoff spot, it's good to see Faried playing so well as the season draws to a close and raises hopes for continued excellence next season.
News: Mozgov notched 23 points (10-15 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 3-4 FT), 29 rebounds, three assists, one steal, and three blocks in 43 minutes Thursday.
Impact: Mozgov exploded for a monster game Thursday against the Warriors, tying his career-high in points and grabbing a career-high 29 rebounds, nearly half of the Nuggets' total rebounds for the game. As the only center in the eight players available for Thursday's game, Mozgov played a team-high 43 minutes and finished with the best game of his career so far.
News: Mozgov has been shooting well from three-point range, having made four of his nine attempts in his last seven outings.
Impact: Mozgov made the first three-point shot of his career back on March 26, and hasn't looked back since. Before that make, he had been 0-for-12 from three in his career. Going from zero percent in his career to 44 percent in his last seven games is a drastic improvement for a big man.
News: Arthur (knee) wasn't able to practice Tuesday but managed to play 18 minutes in Wednesday's game. He finished with four points, three rebounds, one assist, one steal and one block.
Impact: Arthur didn't have to miss any games with his injury that held him out of practice and should be good to go moving forward. However, he provides limited value on a struggling Denver team.

News: Foye scored 24 of his 30 points in the last 24 minutes, going 7 for 7 from the field in the third quarter, and the Denver Nuggets hung on to beat the Houston Rockets 123-116 on Wednesday night. He also had 15 assists.
Impact: Foye scored 30 or more points for the second time this season. He had a season-high 33 on Jan. 29 against Charlotte.
News: Miller started for the eighth-straight time on Wednesday and scored nine points (4-15 FG, 1-4 3Pt) to go along with eight rebounds, four blocks and two assists in a season-high 40 minutes against Houston.
Impact: Miller continues to start with Wilson Chandler (ankle) out and that trend will probably continue for the rest of the year. Although head coach Brian Shaw said he expects Chandler back, it's hard to envision that considering Denver has been eliminated. Miller is a smart play in daily leagues where his salary remains low.
Evan Fournier - #94 - Shooting Guard - 6'7" - 204lbs
News: Fournier scored 14 points (5-9 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 1-2 FT) and had an assist in 27 minutes against Houston on Wednesday night.
Impact: With Wilson Chandler (hip) out, Fournier has seen a consistent boost in minutes. He's scored in double figures in three out of his last four games and four out of his last six. He's a solid shooter, but just doesn't add enough elsewhere to warrant a spot play right now.
News: Foye scored 30 points (10-17 FG, 6-10 3Pt, 4-4 FT) to go along with 15 assists, five rebounds and two steals in 38 minutes against Houston on Wednesday night.
Impact: The streaky Foye was on Wednesday night, hitting just about anything he put up. He plays a ton of minutes and hits plenty of three's, but his numbers are usually pretty thin outside of that. But, with Ty Lawson out (ankle), Foye is sort of the de facto playmaker even with Aaron Brooks in the lineup. He's probably a smart play from here on out if Lawson doesn't return.
News: Chandler (groin) will not play Wednesday against the Rockets, the Denver Post reports.
Impact: This will be the ninth straight game Chandler will miss because of a groin injury. Coach Brian Shaw has said that he expects Chandler to return this season, but with the team out of playoff contention, there seems to be no reason to rush him back. For now, he will be considered day-to-day.
News: Lawson (ankle) will not play Wednesday against the Rockets, the Denver Post reports.
Impact: Coach Brian Shaw has said the he expects Lawson to return before the end of the season, but that will all play out over the course of the last week of the season. Aaron Brooks will continue to start at point guard and have good fantasy value for the rest of the season.
Wed. Apr 9, 2014 | STATS
News: Lawson, who missed Denver's game on Sunday because of a sprained left ankle, may miss the remainder of the season because of the injury.
Impact: With Denver out of the playoff race, the team will shut Lawson down and give their younger players a chance at some playing time.
Tue. Apr 8, 2014 | RotoWire
News: Arthur (knee) did not practice Tuesday but is expected to play Wednesday, the Denver Post reports.
Impact: Arthur has been averaging about 19 minutes per game recently in a fairly consistent bench role that could be of use in very deep leagues. He's capable of providing moderate points and rebounds with about one three-pointer and one block per game.
Tue. Apr 8, 2014 | RotoWire
News: Lawson (ankle) did not practice Tuesday, is not expected to play Wednesday, and is not close to returning, the Denver Post reports.
Impact: What seems to be happening is that Lawson is openly stating that he's hopeful to return this season, but given that the team is out of playoff contention and that Lawson is reported to be dealing with the worst ankle sprain of his career, it seems highly unlikely that we'll see him back on the court this season. His absence makes Aaron Brooks pretty much a must-own player in all standard leagues.
Sun. Apr 6, 2014 | STATS
News: Aaron Brooks had 24 points and 15 assists against his former team, but it wasn't enough, as Denver lost to Houston 130-125 in overtime.
Impact: Brooks, who was traded to Denver on Denver on Feb. 20 for Jordan Hamilton, started for Ty Lawson, who was out with a left ankle sprain.
News: Miller played 34 minutes in a start during an overtime loss to the Rockets Sunday, scoring a career high 19 points (8-14 FG, 3-5 3Pt) while adding six rebounds, three assists, one steal, and four blocks.
Impact: Sunday marked one of the best games of Miller's career, and his production was aided by the extra five minutes. So while these results should be taken with a grain of salt, they should not be wholly ignored - Miller's minutes load has been trending up recently, and even with limited court time he has become a reliable source of three pointers. If Miller has earned his way into a larger role in the Nuggets rotation he could become a relevant source of value moving forward.
News: Faried double-doubled in 38 minutes Sunday, scoring 16 points (7-17 FG, 2-2 FT) and grabbing 13 rebounds against the Rockets. He also added one assist, one steal, two blocks, and two turnovers.
Impact: Though Faried was a bit of a disappointment during stretches earlier this season, he has been excellent for weeks now. It is important to note, however, that the Rockets were without Dwight Howard on Sunday, making this performance not quite as impressive as it first appears. Nonetheless, the way Faried has been performing lately, he should be started in almost every format regardless of who his opponent is.
News: Brooks started Sunday against the Rockets, filling in for the injured Ty Lawson (ankle). He played 47 minutes and scored 24 points (11-24 FG, 2-7 3Pt) to go with 15 assists, eight rebounds, and three steals.
Impact: Brooks also surrendered 7 turnovers during the game, but that was the lone bright on an otherwise shining stat line. Brooks has been a strong fill-in for Lawson at points earlier this season, and looks likely to reprise that productive role now while Lawson recovers from a bad ankle sprain. Based on Brooks' productivity earlier this year during Lawson's injured spells and the possibility that Lawson may not return before the end of the season, Brooks should be added in most formats.
News: Brooks will start at point guard for Sunday's tilt against the Rockets, the Denver Post reports.
Impact: Brooks is starting in place of the injured Ty Lawson (ankle). Brooks should be in the starting lineup for at least a couple games before Lawson is able to return.
News: Lawson (ankle) will not play in Sunday's contest against the Nuggets, the Denver Post reports.
Impact: It's no surprise that Lawson is out for Sunday's game. Coach Brian Shaw said that the Nuggets are not going to rush him back, so look for Aaron Brooks to start in his place for as long he remains out.
News: Chandler (groin) will not play Sunday, Rockets play-by-play announcer Craig Ackerman reports.
Impact: Chandler will sit out an eighth straight game Sunday against Houston and with the Nuggets out of contention, it wouldn't be surprising if Chandler has played his last game of this season. However, with Denver making no such announcement, Chandler's status will be updated on a game-by-game basis.
News: Brooks should start at point guard for Sunday's game and possibly the Nuggets' next several games, as Ty Lawson (ankle) will be sidelined for a couple days at least, the Denver Post reports.
Impact: Lawson suffered what he deemed the worst ankle sprain of his career in Friday's game and left the arena in a walking boot, saying he hoped the swelling would come down in a couple days. It's quite possibly that he misses the Nuggets' final six games, meaning Brooks should be targeted in most formats.
News: Lawson said the ankle sprain he suffered in Friday's game is the worst one he's had, and it was so swollen it looked "like there's water in it," the Denver Post reports. "Hopefully a couple of days I'll be back right, get the swelling down," he said.
Impact: Lawson put up 16 points and three assists in 32 minutes, before limping off the court, after rolling his ankle in the fourth quarter. He left the arena in a walking boot and might not play again this season, as the Nuggets only have six games remaining and the team has nothing to gain by running him back out there. It's possible he could be back before the team's last game on Apr. 16 against the Warriors, but owners will want to start targeting Aaron Brooks, as he'll likely get at least a couple starts in Lawson's absence.
News: Chandler (groin) has had no change in his status, according to coach Brian Shaw, leaving open the possibility that he may not return this season, the Denver Post reports.
Impact: Chandler missed his seventh consecutive game Friday, and with just six games left on Denver's schedule and nothing to play for, owners may want to cut bait with Chandler, if they haven't done so already. Quincy Miller should continue to start in his place, although he's not a great option (just 13 minutes in Friday's game).
News: Lawson scored 16 points (3-8 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 10-12 FT) with three assists, before leaving Friday's loss to Memphis late in the fourth quarter with an ankle injury that put him in a walking boot. He still played 32 minutes, though, and had a pair of steals.
Impact: Lawson didn't start the game because he was late to a breakfast meeting but was able to get to the free-throw line often for the second game in a row. With Denver out of the playoff race, the team will likely be conservative with his return, so he may miss Sunday's game at Houston, which may be good news for Aaron Brooks.
News: Foye scored 21 points (6-12 FG, 4-6 3Pt, 5-6 FT) with nine rebounds and four assists in 39 minutes in the loss to the Grizzlies on Friday.
Impact: Foye has scored a combined 22 points in his previous two games, when he went 2-of-12 on 3-pointers. The former Villanova product is getting plenty of minutes but doesn't always do a lot of damage.
News: Lawson hurt his ankle late in Friday's game in Memphis.
Impact: Lawson went down with an ankle injury with three minutes left in the game but made one of two free throws, before finally heading to the bench. He should be evaluated after the game to decide whether or not he'll miss any time.
News: Chandler (groin) will not play Friday, the Denver Post reports.
Impact: Chandler will miss his seventh consecutive game Friday with a left groin strain and with the Nuggets out of playoff contention and with only a few games remaining he should be considered day-to-day with the chance that he may sit out the rest of the season
News: Brooks will start at point guard Friday versus the Grizzlies, as Ty Lawson missed a team meeting, the Denver Post reports.
Impact: Brooks will be the beneficiary of Lawson's absence, though the latter will likely assume his normal workload in a bench role. In Wednesday's win over the Pelicans, Brooks put up 24 points (9-12, 6-8 3Pt) to go with three rebounds, two blocks and a pair of steals.
News: Lawson missed a team meeting and will not start Friday's game versus the Grizzlies, the Denver Post reports.
Impact: It looks like just a slap on the wrist for Lawson, as the punishment isn't likely to affect his minutes against a Memphis team battling for a playoff berth. Aaron Brooks will get the start in his place.
Thu. Apr 3, 2014 | RotoWire
News: Chandler (groin) did not play in the Nuggets' game Wednesday against the Pelicans.
Impact: This makes it six consecutive games that Chandler has sat out. With the Nuggets out of playoff contention, do not be surprised if they decide to play it safe and shut down Chandler for the rest of the season. For the time being, however, he should be considered day-to-day and fantasy should owners should keep an eye on his status on a game-by-game basis.
Wed. Apr 2, 2014 | RotoWire
News: Brooks scored 24 points (9-12 FG, 6-8 3Pt) and had three rebounds and two steals in 30 minutes against New Orleans on Wednesday night.
Impact: Brooks has been the definition of boom or bust over the last few weeks. He's now broken out for 24-plus points in two of his last four games. The other two games? Just 18 points total. He might be worth a play in daily leagues, despite being highly volatile, because of how many minutes he's been playing. He's averaged 29.6 over his last five games and 24.4 throughout the month of March.
Wed. Apr 2, 2014 | RotoWire
News: Faried score 34 points (14-19 FG, 6-8 FT) and grabbed 13 rebounds in 27 minutes against New Orleans on Wednesday.
Impact: Held to just 27 minutes because of some foul trouble, it's scary to think what Faried could have done with 10 more minutes. He was extremely efficient from the floor and was his typical dominant self on the defensive glass. He's averaging 20.8 points over his last five games and is starting to really turn the page on what was otherwise a down year.
