News: Monroe tallied 22 points (9-19 FG, 4-9 FT), nine assists, and eight rebounds in 38 minutes against Oklahoma City on Wednesday.
Impact: Monroe's advanced skill set was on display Wednesday, when the forward approached triple-double status. While Monroe nearly averaged a double-double on the season, his nine assists against the Thunder were significantly better than his nightly output of two this term.
News: Drummond recorded 22 points (9-16 FG, 4-8 FT) and 13 rebounds in 28 minutes Wednesday versus the Thunder.
Impact: Drummond's game took a sizable leap during his second professional season and Wednesday's performance hints at what he may be capable on a more regular basis down the road. The center averaged a double-double of 13 points and 13 rebounds this season, already making him one of the very best at his position.
News: Smith (knee) did not play Wednesday versus the Thunder.
Impact: Smith missed Detroit's final five games with left patella tendinitis, leaving his final numbers at 16.4 points (on 42 percent shooting), 6.8 rebounds, 3.3 assists, and 1.4 blocks during his first season with the Pistons.
Kentavious Caldwell-Pope - #5 - Shooting Guard - 6'5" - 205lbs
News: Caldwell-Pope notched 30 points (11-19 FG, 5-7 3Pt, 3-5 FT) and six rebounds in 44 minutes Wednesday versus Oklahoma City.
Impact: Caldwell-Pope demonstrated the kind of shooting ability that caused Detroit to select him early on in last summer's draft. The rookie's 30 points were a huge surprise, but definitely a promising sign as Caldwell-Pope heads into his first NBA offseason.
Kentavious Caldwell-Pope - #5 - Shooting Guard - 6'5" - 205lbs
News: Caldwell-Pope will get the start at shooting guard Wednesday against the Thunder, as Rodney Stuckey is out of the lineup.
Impact: With Stuckey out, Caldwell-Pope will make his 41st start of the season. The rookie is averaging 5.6 points on 38.8 percent shooting on the season.
News: Stuckey will not play in Wednesday's season finale against the Thunder.
Impact: It's unknown why Stuckey is out of the lineup, but his absence opens the door for Kentavious Caldwell-Pope to enter the starting five at shooting guard.

News: Monroe finished with 23 points and 10 rebounds in Sunday's loss to the Raptors.
Impact: Overall, Monroe's season has been somewhat disappointing, but he has improved his production down the stretch. In 29 games since the All-Star break, Monroe has averaged 16.7 points, 10.3 rebounds and 1.2 steals while racking up 14 double-doubles. While the double-double production is nice, Monroe doesn't help out with blocks (0.6) and his percentages (49.7 FG, 66.2 FT) aren't ideal for a big man. It'll be interesting to see if Monroe, who's a restricted free agent this summer, still shares a frontcourt with Josh Smith and Andre Drummond next year.
News: Stuckey had 18 points (5-11 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 8-10 FT) with six boards and four assists in 28 minutes Sunday against the Raptors.
Impact: He got the start again for the injured Josh Smith, and looks like a good bet to continue to see minutes over the season's final days.
News: Bynum (foot) did not play Sunday against the Raptors.
Impact: This was the sixth straight game he's missed with the injury, and time is running out if he wants to return this season. For fantasy purposes, Rodney Stuckey, who started again Sunday, is a more logical option for production over the final days of the season.
News: Smith (knee) will not play Sunday versus the Raptors, the Oakland Press reports.
Impact: Smith's absence will mark the fourth straight game he has missed with left patella tendinitis. With just one game remaining after Sunday, Smith's debut season with the Pistons could be over, but his fantasy owners should check his status ahead of Wednesday's finale against Oklahoma City.

News: Smith (knee) won't play Friday in Chicago, the Chicago Tribune reports.

News: Bynum (foot) won't play Friday at Chicago, the Chicago Tribune reports.
Impact: Bynum will miss his fourth straight game with the foot injury, handing over his minutes once again to Rodney Stuckey.
News: Smith, who has missed the past two games with left patella tendinitis, is listed as a game-time decision for Friday's tilt against the Bulls, the Pistons' official site reports.
Impact: The Pistons have been pretty tight-lipped about Smith's status for the final three games of the season. If he sits Friday night, it wouldn't be too surprising to see Smith sit the final two games of the regular season next week. Rodney Stuckey will continue to see extra work as a member of the starting five if Smith stays on the sidelines.
Jonas Jerebko - #33 - Forward - 6'10" - 231lbs
News: Jerebko provided 17 points (5-11 FG, 4-7 3Pt, 3-3 FT) with four rebounds in 26 minutes in the loss at Cleveland on Wednesday.
Impact: Jerebko has seen a bump in playing time with Josh Smith (knee) out. The 6-10 Swede has played 26 minutes in his last two games and can contribute in a number of categories (points, 3-pointers, rebounds, steals) in deeper leagues.
News: Stuckey scored 15 points (4-14 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 7-7 FT) with three assists in 28 minutes as a starter in the loss to the Cavaliers on Wednesday.
Impact: Stuckey's place in the starting lineup has been as the team shifted things around with Josh Smith (knee) out. He is a volume shooter who has only hit 28.2 percent of his 3-pointers. The seventh-year guard can help in points and free throw percentage.
News: Smith (knee) will be out for the Pistons' game on Wednesday against the Cavs, the Cleveland Plain-Dealer reports.
Impact: Smith missed Tuesday's game with patellar tendinitis in his left knee and he will once again be held out on Wednesday. Kyle Singler is expected to start at forward in Smith's absence. Consider Smith day-to-day for the time being.

Impact: This was just the second time Stuckey started in the 70 games he's played this season. Josh Smith was sidelined with patella tendinitis in his left knee, and it's not clear how many more games Stuckey will be in the starting five, but owners who rode him in daily leagues Tuesday were certainly well rewarded.

News: Smith remains out with patella tendinitis in his left knee.
Impact: Smith signed a four-year, $54 million contract as a free agent in the offseason. Smith leads the Pistons with a 16.4 scoring average and is second with a 6.8 rebounding average.
News: Smith will not play Tuesday against the Hawks with patellar tendinitis on his left knee.
Impact: Smith was reportedly going to get benched for Tuesday's game, and it appears it's due to his recent injury. It's unclear when Smith came down with this new ailment, but consider him a game-time decision for Wednesday's game until further news surfaces.
News: Stuckey will start Tuesday against the Hawks, AJC reports. Josh Smith will be benched in his stead.
Impact: Stuckey has been playing fairly well over recent games, and it appears he'll be rewarded. The lineup change isn't necessarily permanent, but owners can use the short-term boost in production.
News: Smith will be benched Tuesday against the Hawks, AJC reports. Rodney Stuckey will start in his place.
Impact: It appears Smith has been disappointing the Pistons, and he'll have to take the backseat in Tuesday's game. It's unclear if this is a permanent change, so owners shouldn't panic too soon.
News: Bynum (foot) is out Tuesday against the Hawks.
Impact: Bynum will now miss his third straight game, and it appears Rodney Stuckey may see extended minutes once again.
News: Bynum remains out with an injured left foot.
Impact: X-rays didn't reveal anything, so consider him day to day. Rookie point guard Peyton Siva seems to be benefiting with added minutes.

News: Monroe's 17 points and 16 rebounds were not enough for Detroit on Wednesday night, as the team fell 101-94 to Indiana.
Impact: The big game was not Monroe's most efficient body of work, as he was just 6 of 21 from the field.
