Andrea Bargnani - #77 - Forward-Center - 7'0" - 250lbs
Tue. Mar 11, 2014 | RotoWire
News: Bargnani (elbow) has no timetable for his return and may be done playing this season, ESPN New York reports.
Impact: Bargnani tore an elbow ligament on Jan. 24 and has been sidelined ever since. The injury prone Italian has played just 31, 35, and 42 games respectively over the past three seasons. Should Bargnani not return this year, expect the Knicks' rotation to remain the same, with Amare Stoudemire being their primary backup big man.
Tue. Mar 11, 2014 | STATS
News: Stoudemire matched a season high with 23 points in Monday's win over Philadelphia.
Impact: Stoudemire is averaging 17.3 points in six games this month, well above his season mark of 10.8.
Tim Hardaway Jr. - #5 - Shooting Guard - 6'6" - 205lbs
Tue. Mar 11, 2014 | STATS
News: Hardaway had 28 points off the bench in Monday's win over Philadelphia.
Impact: Hardaway remains too inconsistent for fantasy purposes right now.
News: Chandler won't play Monday versus the Sixers as a result of a personal matter, the Bergen Record reports.
Impact: Chandler has posted three consecutive double-doubles, and seven in the last 10 games, but a personal concern will keep him away from the team Monday. His replacement at center is unclear, but as long as he's out, Amar'e Stoudemire and Carmelo Anthony should handle much of the run in the Knicks' frontcourt.
News: Stoudemire scored 23 points (9-10 FG, 5-8 FT) to go along with six rebounds and one block in 30 minutes Monday against Philadelphia.
Impact: Stoudemire has played well of late, as he's averaging 17.3 points, 6.5 rebounds and 1.2 blocks over his last six games. Injuries have been a major issue for him in recent years, but he could be a solid option down the stretch, if he can stay healthy.
Tim Hardaway - #5 - Shooting Guard - 6'6" - 205lbs
News: Hardaway scored 28 points (9-13 FG, 5-7 3Pt, 5-6 FT) to go along with two rebounds in 29 minutes Monday against Philadelphia.
Impact: Hardaway caught fire Monday, as the Knicks pulled away from a poor Philadelphia team down the stretch. He can provide plenty of three-pointers and overall scoring on any given night but hasn't been able to do it consistently enough yet to hold significant value.
News: Shumpert will start at shooting guard Monday against the Sixers, the Bergen Record reports.
Impact: Shumpert has only been a reserve in four of 57 appearances this season, but his starting line -- 6.8 points (on 37.4 percent shooting), 4.5 rebounds, 1.8 assists, 1.2 steals, and 1.1 threes in 26.6 minutes per game -- isn't exactly fantasy relevant in standard leagues. The change should hold as long as Tyson Chandler is away from the Knicks due to a personal matter.
News: Chandler may not play Monday against the Sixers due to a personal concern, ESPN New York reports.
Impact: Chandler has boosted his workload and efficiency since the break, averaging 11.3 points (on 55.7 percent shooting), 13.9 boards, 1.3 blocks, 1.2 assists, and 0.7 steals in 34.5 minutes across 12 second-half outings. An absence would likely result in some severe reshuffling of the lineup, with Amar'e Stoudemire and Carmelo Anthony manning the two frontcourt spots.
News: Clark will sign a second 10-day contract with the Knicks, the New York Post reports.
Impact: Clark signed his first 10-day contract with the Knicks on February 26, and it appears he'll be staying there a bit longer. He's managed to put up just 2.2 points and 1.5 rebounds in 6.7 minutes per game on the Knicks, which means he's not an option in virtually any fantasy league.
News: Brown will sign a second 10-day contract with the Knicks, the New York Post reports.
Impact: Brown signed his first 10-day contract with the Knicks on Feb. 26, and it appears they'll keep him for longer. Still he's unlikely to get much opportunity to play, with Raymond Felton ahead of him on the depth chart.
News: Martin (ankle), who was expected to be re-evaluated last Thursday, is still without an update on his status.
Impact: Martin has been dealing with a myriad of injuries throughout the past few seasons, and there's a good chance he'll struggle to remain healthy the rest of the way. It's rather interesting that the Knicks haven't given an official update on the veteran, despite the media reporting he'd be re-evaluated. In the fantasy realm, consider Martin irrelevant until he returns to action.
Sun. Mar 9, 2014 | STATS
News: Stoudemire had 17 points and 12 rebounds in Saturday's win at Cleveland.
Impact: Stoudemire is averaging 16.2 points while shooting 59.6 percent in five games this month.
Sat. Mar 8, 2014 | RotoWire
News: Stoudemire provided 17 points (7-16 FG, 3-4 FT), 12 rebounds, four assists, and three blocks in 28 minutes in the win over the Cavaliers on Saturday.
Impact: Stoudemire played just 19 minutes in the win over Utah on Friday, scoring 10 points. He may have been rested enough to take advantage of the Cavaliers' interior problems. Stoudemire has averaged 16.2 points on 59.6 percent from the field and 6.6 boards in his last five games, making him a useful fantasy player.
Fri. Mar 7, 2014 | STATS
News: Anthony scored 18 of his 29 points in the first quarter, sending the New York Knicks to a rare easy night in a 108-81 victory over the Utah Jazz on Friday.
Impact: Anthony is averaging 32.8 points in his last 10 games.
Fri. Mar 7, 2014 | STATS
News: Chandler finished with 16 points and 11 rebounds in a 108-81 victory over the Utah Jazz on Friday.
Impact: Chandler has been mostly atrocious this season along with the rest of the Knicks outside of Carmelo Anthony.
Fri. Mar 7, 2014 | RotoWire
News: Chandler had 16 points (8-10 FG, 0-2 FT) with 11 rebounds in 23 minutes during the win over the Jazz on Friday.
Impact: Chandler has put together back-to-back double-doubles and has been hitting the boards like a much younger man. He has 10 straight double-digit rebound games, including a pair of 20-board games.
Fri. Mar 7, 2014 | RotoWire
News: Anthony provided 29 points (10-19 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 6-8 FT) with four rebounds and eight assists in 32 minutes during the win over Utah on Friday.
Impact: Anthony has led the Knicks to two-straight wins and has hit at least half of his field goals in his last three contests. He only has 13 rebounds in his last three games, but has hit 10 3-pointers in that same span.
News: Shumpert (knee) came off the bench again in Wednesday's game, playing 21 minutes and scoring just two points on 1-4 shooting from the field.
Impact: The game was Shumpert's second since his return from a knee injury. For the time being, it appears he is behind both J.R. Smith and Tim Hardaway Jr. on Mike Woodson's depth chart.
News: Back in Mike Woodson's starting lineup, Smith scored 14 points on 6-11 shooting (2-4 from three) with five assists in a 118-106 win over Minnesota on Wednesday.
Impact: Knicks coach Mike Woodson seems to have settled on a new starting lineup that features Smith at shooting guard and Amar'e Stoudemire at power forward. This doesn't impact Smith's fantasy value much, as he has played significant minutes whether or not he starts games.
News: Chandler posted an impressive 15-point, 14-rebound double-double against Minnesota on Wednesday.
Impact: Chandler played 31 minutes against the Timberwolves, as Mike Woodson continued to rely more heavily on his starting lineup and play a shorter rotation.
News: Felton turned in what may have been his most impressive performance of the season in Wednesday's game, scoring 18 points on 5-8 shooting from the field (2-4 from three) with eight assists and four steals.
Impact: The Knicks made a major effort to push the pace from the outset, which clearly played to Felton's strengths. A pre-game pep talk from coach Mike Woodson may have helped as well. It will be interesting to see if Felton can use this game to turn his season around.
News: Back in the starting lineup against the Timberwolves on Wednesday, Stoudemire scored 18 points on 8-18 shooting from the field and added eight rebounds, two blocks and a steal.
Impact: This makes two strong performances in a row for STAT, who scored 22 points in the Knicks' loss to Detroit on March 3.
News: Anthony scored a game-high 33 points, leading the Knicks to a 118-106 win over the Timberwolves on Wednesday.
Impact: Anthony would have had more, but he shot poorly (3-10) from three-point range. He added five boards, five assists and three steals in the win.
News: Smith scored 16 points (5-17 FG, 4-11 3Pt, 2-2 FT) to go along with two rebounds, one assist and one block in 31 minutes Monday against the Pistons.
Impact: Smith struggled from the field Monday, as the Knicks lost yet again. Even though Smith didn't shoot well, Iman Shumpert hasn't played well at all and may continue to come off the bench. Smith has been playing significant minutes coming off the bench for the Knicks, so his fantasy value likely won't change too much, even if he remains a starter.
News: Stoudemire scored 22 points (9-11 FG, 4-4 FT) to go along with six rebounds in 32 minutes Monday against the Pistons.
Impact: The Knicks have been awful of late and decided to insert Stoudemire into the starting lineup. They also faced the Pistons' big frontcourt and would have needed Carmelo Anthony to play against Greg Monroe, if Stoudemire hadn't started. Stoudemire played well, but it's unclear if he'll remain a member of the starting unit.
News: Martin has been having PRP therapy on his ankle and will be evaluated Thursday, the New York Times reports.
Impact: The Knicks could sorely use Martin's defensive presence, but it seems like old age is finally catching up to him, as PRP therapy is generally a good indicator that a player's body is breaking down. It's doubtful that he'll have much of a fantasy impact over the rest of the season.
News: Shumpert will come off the bench Monday, the New York Times reports.
Impact: Shumpert had just returned Sunday from a knee injury that had held him out for a little over a week, but he didn't show coach Mike Woodson much as a starter, so J.R. Smith and Amar'e Stoudemire will be moved to the starting lineup, with Pablo Prigioni joining Shumpert in a new reserve role. Shumpert's value at the moment is minimal.
Pablo Prigioni - #9 - Guard - 6'3" - 185lbs
News: Prigioni will come off the bench Monday, the New York Times reports.
Impact: Coach Mike Woodson is going to shake things up and put J.R. Smith and Amar'e Stoudemire into the starting lineup, moving Prigioni and Iman Shumpert to the bench. Regardless of whether he starts or comes off the bench, Prigioni holds very little value.
News: Smith will be in the starting lineup Monday, the New York Times reports.
Impact: Smith returned to a bench role Sunday, after Iman Shumpert's return from injury, but Shumpert's poor play and the Knicks' losing ways contributed to coach Mike Woodson to shake things up again. Still, Smith carries similar value in leagues, regardless of whether he starts or comes off the bench.
News: Stoudemire will be in the starting lineup Monday, the New York Times reports.
Impact: Despite Monday representing the second game of a back-to-back set, Stoudemire will not only play but be moved into the starting lineup, as coach Mike Woodson searches for some magical combo that could lead his team to a win. Still, don't expect 30 minutes out of Stoudemire, as he should see something similar to the 23 minutes he saw in Sunday's game.
News: Stoudemire expects to play Monday at Detroit, New York Newsday reports.
Impact: Stoudemire typically sits out the second game of back-to-back sets, but after Sunday's loss in Chicago, he stated that he intends to ignore his previous stipulation for active status in a given contest. If coach Mike Woodson consents, Stoudemire will attempt to build upon a fair post-break line -- 9.5 points (on 54.8 percent shooting) and 3.5 rebounds in 21.8 minutes per outing -- which is helpful to those in deeper leagues.
News: Stoudemire had 14 points (7-8 FG) with six boards in 23 minutes off the bench Sunday against the Bulls.
Impact: He got a rest day Friday, but was back on the court Sunday, and should continue to see backup minutes in the frontcourt moving forward.
News: Chandler had eight points (3-5 FG, 2-4 FT) with 22 rebounds, two assists and three blocks in 40 minutes Sunday against the Bulls.
Impact: He's averaging a pretty ridiculous 17 rebounds per game over his last five outings, and his minutes have really spiked, playing 34.8 mpg over that stretch. Chandler can't possibly keep up this run of domination on the glass, but owners should certainly enjoy it while it lasts.
News: Smith came off the bench Sunday and scored 13 points (6-12 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 1-2 FT) with one rebound and two assists in 28 minutes against the Bulls.
Impact: Iman Shumpert (knee) returned to the starting lineup, but played just 20 minutes, so this wasn't a major hit to Smith's value. Look for him to continue to come off the bench moving forward.
News: Shumpert (knee) had three points (1-6 FG, 1-3 3Pt), five boards, one assist and one block in 20 minutes Sunday against the Bulls.
Impact: This was Shumpert's first game since Feb. 19, as he was out with a sprained medial collateral ligament in his left knee. His limited minutes were partly because he had some rust to knock off, and partly because it seems coach Mike Woodson is just more comfortable with Tim Hardaway, Jr. and J.R. Smith at the moment. Shumpert can be cast aside in most standard leagues.
News: Shumpert (knee) will make his return Sunday and will be back in the starting lineup against the Bulls, New York Times reports.
Impact: This is a bit of a surprise, as reports that surfaced Saturday seemed to suggest Shumpert was further away from returning. However, he will get the start Sunday. Owners should expect a little rust, as he's been out since Feb. 19 with the knee injury.
News: Anthony (sore right hand) was not listed on the Knicks' injury report for Sunday's game, so he should play, ESPN New York reports.
Impact: Anthony injured his right hand in New York's loss to Golden State on Friday, but it was diagnosed as a sprain and won't force him to miss any time.
News: Shumpert (knee) is still without a definitive return date, the New York Post reports. "Just day-by-day," he said. "I'm getting better. I still need to do a lot more cutting. A lot more cutting. After that contact. See how it goes."
Impact: Coach Mike Woodson was similarly non-committal to a timetable for Shumpert's return, but we can guess that he'll be out for at least another week. Tim Hardaway remains a decent option in Shumpert's absence, and owners should make sure they aren't banking on any production out of Shump for several games.
News: Anthony injured his right hand during the Knicks' loss to the Warriors on Friday, the New York Daily News reports. The early diagnoses is just a sprain, but he will have further testing done to find out the severity.
Impact: Anthony appeared to get hit several times in his right hand over the course of Friday's game. It might be too early to jump to conclusions, but this type of injury may just be the summation of a long and strenuous NBA season, especially in Anthony's case. There's some obvious concern moving forward since it's his shooting hand and he should be considered day-to-day until further information is released.
Sat. Mar 1, 2014 | STATS
News: Anthony scored 23 and grabbed 16 rebounds in Friday's loss to Golden State, but had one of his worst shooting performances of the season, going 7 for 26.
Impact: Though Anthony struggled to find his shot on Friday, he would seem to bear little responsibility for New York's current 2-11 stretch. He's averaging 31.5 points during that span.
Tim Hardaway - #5 - Shooting Guard - 6'6" - 205lbs
News: Hardaway scored 22 points (6-11 FG, 4-7 3Pt, 6-6 FT) in 40 minutes during the loss to the Warriors on Friday.
Impact: Hardaway had scored just 23 total points in his previous three games, but found his 3-point stroke and scored in a losing effort. He is getting plenty of playing time (36.0 minutes per game in his last five contests), but isn't always doing much with that run.
News: Anthony scored 23 points (7-26 FG, 1-6 3Pt, 8-8 FT) with 16 rebounds in the loss to the Warriors on Friday.
Impact: Anthony is putting forth plenty of effort, but it is not resulting in wins. His 23 points were his fewest since Feb. 9 when he scored 15 points in the loss to the Thunder. The Knicks have lost five in a row and are now six games behind the eighth slot in the Eastern Conference.
News: Stoudemire will not play Friday, the Bergen Record reports.
Impact: Stoudemire appears to simply be getting the night off. He's really only been of use in deeper leagues this season, but he has been of more use than anyone would have predicted prior to the season.
News: Martin (ankle) has played just one game during the month of February and continues to battle his lingering injury.
Impact: The Knicks are in dire need of many things, but Martin hasn't been able to provide much of anything towards that effort in the second half of the season. Now an aging 36-year-old, Martin will likely struggle to finish the year out with any consistency.
News: Felton (felony gun charges) finished with two points (1-7 FG, 0-2 3Pt), two rebounds, five assists and three steals during 31 minutes of action Thursday.
Impact: Felton will continue to play as he battles with some serious judicial issues. This was his first game since his legal proceedings began and managed to put together a box score that was well-rounded in terms of deeper leagues. His odd situation may eventually leave him permanently sidelined, but as for now, he'll continue to play until further notice.
News: Chandler finished with 19 points (6-9 FG, 7-8 FT) and 16 rebounds Thursday against the Heat.
Impact: Chandler recorded his fourth consecutive double-double and his fifth in six games. Despite the Knicks' struggles, Chandler has been an elite rebounder and a good source of blocked shots this season.
News: Anthony finished with 29 points (11-20 FG, 3-8 3Pt, 4-6 FT), seven rebounds, two assists, and one block in 36 minutes Thursday.
Impact: Despite losing by 26 points to the Heat on Thursday, Carmelo was still able to score 29 points. He was one of just three players on the Knicks team to score in double figures along with Tyson Chandler and J.R. Smith.
News: Shumpert could miss another week with his knee injury, Turner Sports reports.
Impact: Shumpert has been running and jumping at practice but is still dealing with an MCL sprain. Those waiting on Shumpert to return will have to wait another week.
News: Shumpert (knee) is running and jumping but has not been cleared to cut or take contact, Newsday reports.
Impact: Shumpert suffered a "mild" MCL sprain last week, and given the fact that he's still not cutting on the knee, it seems he may very well be out longer than the initial two-week estimate for his return. The 23-year-old said Thursday that he's uncertain when he'll be back.
News: Stoudemire will return to the bench for Thursday's game against the Heat, Newsday reports.
Impact: Making his first start in nearly two years Monday, Stoudemire posted nine points, two rebounds and one assist in 20 minutes against the Mavs. Coach Mike Woodson is trying to counter the Heat's small lineup, so this doesn't necessarily mean Stoudemire won't be getting more chances to start in the near future.
News: Smith will start Thursday against the Heat, Newsday reports.
Impact: With the Heat likely going small, coach Mike Woodson will counter by slotting Smith into the starting unit and bringing Amare Stoudemire off the bench. It will be Smith's 14th start of the season.
News: Brown will suit up for Thursday's game against the Heat, the New York Times reports.
Impact: Brown will officially sign a 10-day contract with the Knicks on Wednesday. Although he will suit up, he has yet to practice with the team, so it is unlikely that he will see any playing time.
News: Clark will suit up for Thursday'a game against the Heat, the New York Times reports.
Impact: Clark will officially sign a 10-day contract with the Knicks on Wednesday. Although he will suit up, he has not yet practiced with the team, so it is unlikely that he will see much, if any, playing time.
News: Anthony (personal reason) did not practice Wednesday, but will join the team in Miami for Thursday's game against the Heat, the Wall Street Journal reports.
Impact: Anthony is coming off of a big game, scoring 44 points to go along with nine rebounds and four assists in Monday's loss to the Mavericks. He is averaging 27.5 points, 8.0 rebounds and 4.5 assists in two games against Miami this season.
News: Clark will sign a 10-day contract with the Knicks, Sportando reports.
Impact: Clark averaged 7.3 points and 5.5 rebounds in 2012-13, but has yet to capitalize this season despite the opportunity. He'll have a hard time making an impact in fantasy as a member of the Knicks, despite the fact that they are shorthanded.
News: Brown will sign a 10-day contract with the Knicks, Sportando reports.
Impact: Brown hasn't contributed in fantasy leagues this season in his short-term stint with the Spurs. With news that Raymond Felton (suspension) may still suit up for the foreseeable future, it may be hard for Brown to be of any use in most leagues.
Pablo Prigioni - #9 - Guard - 6'3" - 185lbs
News: Prigioni is likely to see an increase in minutes due to the ongoing situation with Raymond Felton.
Impact: An increase in playing time will give Prigioni an increase in fantasy value. Since the team bought out Beno Udrih, he is the only true point guard on the Knicks roster.
News: Felton (felony gun charges) will play Thursday against the Heat, barring an unforeseen punishment from the league or the Knicks, ESPN New York reports. This is somewhat interesting, as Felton could face 2-to-7 years in prison if convicted of criminal possession of a weapon in the third degree, which he was charged with, along with criminal possession of a firearm, both of which are felonies in New York. He was originally arraigned on two charges, which is down from the three he was originally arrested on.
Impact: If Felton is a key cog on your fantasy team, chances are things haven't gone so well this season, but the charges are nonetheless risky for his fantasy value. Continue to monitor the situation, but for now, it seems like Felton will continue to suit up, as the legal process is in its infant stages.
News: Clark is reportedly close to signing a contract with the New York Knicks, Newsday reports.
Impact: There was a time when Clark offered the hope of a little fantasy upside, but he has been pretty underwhelming at his most recent stops. His career year was 2012-13 when he averaged 7.3 points and 5.5 rebounds in 23.1 minutes per game for the Lakers, making him an unappealing option, even if he does signed with the undermanned Knicks.
Tue. Feb 25, 2014 | STATS
News: Felton has been arrested on three counts of criminal possession of a weapon.
Impact: Sgt. Thomas Antonetti says Felton turned himself in at 12:50 a.m. Tuesday and was questioned in the 20th Precinct in Manhattan, hours after his team lost at home to the Dallas Mavericks. The sergeant says the charges don't stem from him using the firearm in a menacing manner but of possessing a gun he wasn't registered to have.
News: Felton was arrested by the New York Police Department Thursday for criminal firearm possession in the second, third, and fourth degrees, ESPN reports. He was allegedly accused of "pointing a gun" at a woman, who appeared to be his girlfriend, the New York Post reports. He's scheduled to appear in criminal court late Tuesday morning, and could potentially serve imprisonment if convicted.
Impact: If convicted, the veteran point guard could face a minimum of 3.5 years to a maximum of 15 years, Steve Popper of the Record reports. Felton has been struggling this season, averaging just 10.4 points, 3.0 rebounds, 6.0 assists, and 1.0 steals per game. It's unclear how much time he'll miss with charges, depending on the outcome of the court, but with Beno Udrih now out of the Knicks as well, expect a combination of Tim Hardaway Jr. and Pablo Prigioni to see extended minutes at Felton's absence.
Mon. Feb 24, 2014 | STATS
News: Anthony scored 44 points in the Knicks' 110-108 loss to Dallas on Monday.
Impact: Anthony didn't get much help from his teammates again, as the next highest scoring Knick was J.R. Smith, who had 15 points off the bench. Anthony is averaging 41.3 points over the past four games - three losses.
Mon. Feb 24, 2014 | RotoWire
News: Stoudemire scored nine points (3-5 FG, 3-3 FT) and grabbed two rebounds in 20 minutes Monday.
Impact: While Stoudemire got his first start in nearly two years, he still played his typical amount of minutes. The big man looked great heading into the All-Star break, and more starts could be coming his way, so keep an eye on his role over the next few games.
Metta World Peace - #51 - Forward - 6'7" - 250lbs
Mon. Feb 24, 2014 | STATS
News: New York waived World Peace and Beno Udrih after buying out their contracts, announcing the moves Monday. Both will be able to sign with another team and be eligible for the playoffs.
Impact: World Peace played in only 29 games for New York with one start.
News: Chandler had a season-high 23 boards in Saturday's loss to Atlanta, compensating for an ineffective offense performance that saw him go 5 of 13 for 10 points.
Impact: Chandler is averaging 10.9 rebounds over his last 17 contests.
News: Anthony had another big night in a losing effort, scoring 35 on 13-of-23 shooting in Saturday's defeat to Atlanta.
Impact: Anthony is averaging 31.3 points over his last 10 games, but New York is just 2-8 during that stretch.
Metta World Peace - #51 - Forward - 6'7" - 250lbs
News: A person with knowledge of the details says the New York Knicks are in serious discussions with Metta World Peace and Beno Udrih about buying out their contracts.
Impact: World Peace wrote on his Twitter account earlier Saturday that his agent was working on a buyout and thanked fans and the city. The Knicks were also trying to finalize one with Udrih, the person told The Associated Press on condition of anonymity because the moves weren't official.
News: Anthony scored 44 - his third 36-plus point performance in four games - in a losing effort in Friday's double-overtime defeat to Orlando.
Impact: Anthony, who matched a season high with six 3-pointers on 10 attempts, is averaging 32.9 points over his last 13 games.
News: Anthony capped a 42-point performance with three clutch baskets in the last two minutes, and the New York Knicks snapped a three-game skid with a 98-91 victory over the New Orleans Pelicans on Wednesday night.
Impact: Anthony remains a subject of many rumors but fantasy owners should keep him regardless since the former Syracuse star was simply outstanding against the Pelicans.
News: Shumpert is back in the lineup after he was sidelined by a left knee injury.
Impact: Coach Mike Woodson says Shumpert will start on Sunday against the Chicago Bulls. He has struggled this season, averaging 6.9 points on 38 percent shooting in 52 games.
News: Stoudemire is sitting out the Knicks' game Wednesday night against the New Orleans Pelicans.
Impact: Knicks coach Mike Woodson says Stoudemire's left knee was sore following Tuesday night's 98-93 loss at Memphis. Woodson says trainers have indicated the 6-foot-11 forward and center has no new injury of any significance, "just soreness."
