Anthony Castonzo, T
- Height: 6-foot-7
- Weight: 295 pounds
- School: Boston College
Castonzo had a career at Boston College defined by consistency as he set a school record with 54 starts. After starting at right tackle as a freshman, Castonzo spent his final three seasons at left tackle and blocked for All-ACC running back Montel Harris this past year, helping BC rushers post nine 100-yard efforts. Castonzo was named a third-team All-American as a result. His 5.23-second 40-yard dash time was the 12th best among offensive linemen at the NFL combine. His 4.40-second 20-yard shuttle run time was even more impressive, ranking third in his position group, while he was second in the three-cone drill at 7.25 seconds. Castonzo showed his professionalism by preparing for the combine at the IMG Academy in Florida, and his versatility by playing some guard in the Senior Bowl. Scouts love his feel for the game and smarts, qualities that are no surprise since he was a Rhodes Scholar nominee as a biochemistry major. Castonzo is also considered very disciplined, perhaps from his time playing football at Fork Union Military Academy in Virginia. He rates high in athleticism, size and versatility since he can fit in well at either tackle slot. Castonzo is a solid bet to be drafted in the top 15 and could be the top offensive lineman taken.
