Stevan Ridley, RB
- Height: 6-foot-0
- Weight: 226 pounds
- School: LSU
Ridley decided to forgo his senior season at LSU and enter the draft after leading the Tigers with 1,147 rushing yards and 15 touchdowns - both totals being fourth best in the SEC - in his first full season as a starter in 2010. The 1,147 yards rank as the seventh-highest season total in LSU history and the 15 TDs on the ground tied Kevin Faulk of the New England Patriots for the fourth-best mark by a Tiger. Ridley saw limited action in his first two seasons, carrying the ball 57 times for 272 yards and four scores. He almost didn't play against Texas A&M in the Cotton Bowl in January, but the NCAA cleared him after investigating an unspecified "one-time" academic violation. That was good news for LSU, as he ran 24 times for 105 yards and a TD in a 41-24 win. Ridley is a big and powerful back, but he doesn't possess great speed and isn't a threat in the passing game after making just 17 receptions for 94 yards in 39 career games. Ridley finished fourth among running backs at the NFL combine in the three-cone drill (6.78 seconds), 10th in the vertical jump (36.0 inches) and tied for 11th in the broad jump (9 feet, 10 inches). He is expected to be taken anywhere between the fifth and seventh rounds.
