Nick Toon, WR
- Height: 6-foot-3
- Weight: 218 pounds
- School: Wisconsin

Scouting Report
The son of former Wisconsin Hall of Famer and New York Jets receiver Al Toon, the younger Toon certainly has the pedigree to be a successful NFL player. He possesses the size and physical ability that made his father a solid NFL performer for eight seasons. Toon overcame a late-season foot injury and benefited from the arrival of quarterback Russell Wilson to rank sixth in the Big Ten with a career-high 64 receptions as senior in 2011. He also set career bests with 926 receiving yards and 10 touchdowns during his final season in Madison. Toon caught seven passes for a career-high 155 yards and two touchdowns during a 59-10 rout of South Dakota on Sept. 24. He recorded a season-high nine catches for 104 yards and a score in Wisconsin's 45-38 loss to then-No. 6 Oregon in the Rose Bowl on Jan. 2. A smart receiver with good hands, Toon is likely to be drafted late in the second round or within the top half of the third. However, the lingering foot problems coupled with a thigh bruise and turf toe that forced him to miss four games in 2010, might leave scouts with the idea that Toon is fragile. That lack of durability could be something Toon will need to overcome during his pro career. If he's able to do that, he has the potential and athletic ability to have a very successful NFL career.
