Every year, anxious candidates wait for the phone to ring. Are they Hall of Famers or do they have to wait another year? Well, the time is now. Let's meet the 2013 Class of the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

The senior candidate's career lasted from 1968-1981, spend with the Kansas City Chiefs, Houston Oilers and Detroit Lions. Culp was part of the Chiefs' Super Bowl IV winning squad, was an AFL All-Star, a 5-time Pro Bowl selection and a first-team All-Pro in 1975. He compiled 68 sacks, and forced 14 fumbles.

Robinson was picked by the Green Bay Packers in the 1963 NFL Draft and played 11 seasons in the league with Green Bay and the Washington Redskins. Robinson played on the Packers teams that won Super Bowl I and II as part of a fearsome linebacker corps that included Ray Nitschke and Lee Roy Caffey. He was also named to the NFL's 1960s All-Decade Team.

Love him or hate him, Sapp enters Canton in his first year of eligibility. He played 13 seasons with the Buccaneers (winning Super Bowl XXXVII) and the Raiders, winning NFL Defensive Player of the Year honors in 1999. He was a seven-time Pro Bowl selection and a four-time first-team All-Pro. He was also named to the NFL's All-Decade Team for the 1990s and 2000s.

The fourth pick in the NFL Draft back in 1996, Ogden was a Baltimore Raven for life. He was a part of the Ravens' Super Bowl XXXV-winning team and started 176 games in his career. Ogden was an 11-time Pro Bowl selection and a nine-time All-Pro. He was a part of the NFL's 2000s All-Decade Team and was inducted into the Ravens' Ring of Honor. Ogden enters in his first year of eligibility.

One of the most feared offensive linemen in history, Allen made his NFL debut in 1994 and lasted until 2007. He was an 11-time Pro Bowler, seven-time All-Pro and also won a Super Bowl with the Dallas Cowboys (XXX). Allen holds the honors of being named to the NFL's 1990s All-Decade Team and the one for the 2000s. Allen enters in his first year of eligibility.

Buddy Ryan once said of Carter that "all he does is catch touchdown passes." That he did. Carter pulled down 130 TDs during his 16 seasons in the NFL, which at the time was good for second all-time to Jerry Rice. He finished with 1,101 receptions, was an eight-time Pro Bowl selection and a two-time first-team All-Pro. Carter was named to the NFL's 1990s All-Decade Team and even won the Walter Payton Man of the Year Award in 1999. Carter enters the Hall of Fame in his sixth year of eligibility.

The legendary coach won two Super Bowls with the New York Giants (XXI and XXV), while compiling an overall record of 183-138-1. Parcells was named NFL Coach of the Year in 1986 and 1994 and had additional head coaching stints with the Patriots, Jets and Cowboys. He also served in an executive role with the Jets and Dolphins.
