News: Okam signed with the Giants on Saturday, Mike Garafolo of USA Today reports. [+]
Impact: Okam, who was drafted by the Texans in the fifth round of the 2008 draft, played in 22 games between Tampa Bay and Houston from 2008-11. He'll likely be a depth guy in New York, if he makes the team at all. ( RotoWire - Sat. May 11, 2013) | |

News: Jolly has been invited by the Packers to take part in OTAs, WBAY-TV Green Bay reports. [+]
Impact: Jolly was reinstated by the NFL in February after he was suspended by the league in 2009 following a string of drug-related arrests. He appears to have gotten his personal life together but after three years away from the game, he will face an uphill battle to make the 53-man roster, much less reclaim his old starting job at defensive end. ( RotoWire - Thu. May 23, 2013) |
News: Bishop (torn hamstring) is confident that he'll be up to speed in time for training camp, the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel reports. "Oh, training camp, I'll be 110 percent," Bishop said. "For sure." [+]
Impact: The report suggests that Bishop may play it safe and sit out the start of organized team activities this week. The linebacker missed the entire 2012 season after tearing his hamstring last August, but assuming his health, he'll start at right inside linebacker for the Packers, where he's a candidate to rack up triple-digit tackles once again. ( RotoWire - Mon. May 20, 2013) |
News: Green proclaimed himself 100 percent recovered from his knee injury Tuesday, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports. [+]
Impact: Green appeared in 12 games for the Packers last season and even started four, but he also mentioned Tuesday that he was never fully healthy in 2012, which likely played a factor in him averaging just 3.4 yards per carry. A healthy Green will get a chance to compete for carries during training camp, but he will have to beat out several players, including Eddie Lacy and DuJuan Harris, to carve out a significant role.
