News: Johnson, who has been been forced to miss several offseason practices due to a back ailment, was able to participate in individual drills Tuesday, the Associated Press reports. [+]
Impact: The gabby wideout is calling the injury a strain, but also referred to 6-8 week recovery period. Nonetheless, Tuesday's effort sounds like a great sign that Johnson will be closer to 100 percent come training camp. This takes on a bit of importance even though he's a veteran, as he'll be with a new quarterback and a new offense this season, one that might have him lining up in the slot at times.
