News: Rams' quarterback Marc Bulger will miss three-to-six weeks due to a broken tibia, according to Bernie Miklasz of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. Bulger suffered several injuries in Sunday's loss to the Cardinals. [+]
Impact: The news was worse than expected for Bulger and the Rams, as it looks like he could miss much of the remainder of the season. Kyle Boller will become the number one man in St. Louis while Bulger is out, but no quarterback for this team should be considered for fantasy duty. ( Fanball - Mon. Nov 23, 2009) |
News: Jackson became the first Rams player to post five consecutive 1,000-yard seasons, gaining 116 yards on 24 carries in Sunday's 21-13 loss to Arizona. [+]
Impact: Jackson has rushed for 100 yards in four straight games. ( STATS - Mon. Nov 23, 2009) |
News: Bulger completed 19 of 37 for 215 yards and an interception in Sunday's 21-13 loss to Arizona. [+]
Impact: Bulger underwent an MRI exam on his groin and hamstring Monday and was due for a second MRI on a swollen knee in addition to testing for concussion-related symptoms after a physically demanding loss to the Arizona Cardinals. Coach Steve Spagnuolo said the first MRI revealed a strain. The second MRI was set for late Monday and Bulger will be tested for a possible concussion Tuesday after taking a blow to the head in the fourth quarter of Sunday's 21-13 loss. ( STATS - Mon. News: The Green Bay Packers have signed defensive back Josh Bell, according to beat writer Rob Demovsky. Bell was formerly with the Broncos this season. [+]
Impact: Bell suffered a knee injury in the preseason finale, so he has not played yet this season. He provides some depth in the secondary, but he won't be an IDP conributor this season. ( Fanball - Mon. Nov 23, 2009) |
News: Rodgers was 32 of 45 for 344 yards, including 274 in the first half in the Packers' 30-24 win over the 49ers on Sunday. [+]
Impact: Rodgers continues to be more than adequate in filling Brett Favre's shoes. He has 19 TDs and 5 INTs and handles himself well in the process. Fantasy owners and Packers fans should be pleased to have Rodgers as their quarterback. ( STATS - Mon. Nov 23, 2009) |
News: Grant ran for 129 yards on 21 carries in the Packers' 30-24 win over the 49ers on Sunday. [+]
Impact: Grant has 5 rushing TDs this season, and that's not nearly enough to please most fantasy owners. Grant needs to find the end zone more. ( STATS - Mon. Nov 23, 2009) | |
