News: Smith injured his ankle in Sunday's game against the Steelers, the Associated Press reports. [+]
Impact: Jamaal Charles will get the bulk of carries Sunday, with Smith, who has just one carry for three yards, unavailable. ( RotoWire - Nov 22, 2009) |
News: Studebaker had five tackles (four solo), a half-sack and two interceptions in Sunday's overtime win over the Steelers. [+]
Impact: An injury to Mike Vrabel opened the door for Studebaker's first start of the season, and the second-year man from tiny Wheaton College in Illinois made the most of his opportunity. Vrabel may miss another couple of games, so if you're in a deep IDP league looking to take a flier on someone, Studebaker could be your guy. ( RotoWire - Nov 22, 2009) |
News: Hali had seven tackles (five solo), including a tackle for a loss in Sunday's overtime win over the Steelers. [+]
Impact: Hali got off to a hot start, but now has just 0.5 sacks in his last four games. He's only worth considering in the deepest of IDP leagues. ( RotoWire - Nov 22, 2009)

News: Updating an earlier item, the injury that forced Kurt Warner from the game late in the first half on Sunday has been revealed to be a mild concussion, according to ESPN's Chris Mortensen. [+]
Impact: It sounds as mild as such a serious injury could be. He looked fine to the naked eye on the sidelines in the second half, and the team says he is doing well. He will probably be able to go in Week 12. ( Fanball - Sun. Nov 22, 2009) |
News: Matt Leinart was mediocre in relief of an injured Kurt Warner on Sunday, competing 10-of-14 passes for only 74 yards. [+]
Impact: The offense was lost without its usual field general, and Sunday was another stark reminder of why Warner continues to start over the formerly ballyhooed Leinart. ( Fanball - Sun. Nov 22, 2009) |
News: Kurt Warner did not return to the game on Sunday after leaving late in the first half after being jammed into the turf by St. Louis' O.J. Atogwe. He finished the day 15-of-19 for 203 yards and two touchdowns. [+]
Impact: Matt Leinart was dreadful in relief, and all Arizona skill-player owners should hope Warner is able to go in Week 12. Stay tuned. ( Fanball - Sun. Nov 22, 2009)
