News: According to the Philadelphia Inquirer, Macho Harris will handle Sunday's kick return duties for the Eagles. [+]
Impact: Harris will fill in for Quintin Demps, who is out with an ankle injury, and got the nod over wide receiver Jeremy Maclin. Maclin was named the return man earlier this week, but the team felt it was better to throw a defensive back out there, than a promising young wideout who could get injured. ( Fanball - Sun. News: According to the Chicago Sun-Times, Jeremy Maclin will likely handle kick return duties again this week. [+]
Impact: With usual kick returner Quintin Demps out with injury Maclin will get the nod again this week, but it may not be the smartest play for the Eagles. The rookie wide receiver is more important to the team in his every-down role, and risks injury returning kicks. He took a couple of hard hits last week, so beware of him being banged up, but on the flip side, enjoy the added fantasy bonus of return yards. ( Fanball - Sat. Nov 21, 2009) |
News: Jordan (knee) will not play Sunday against Chicago, the Associated Press reports. [+]
Impact: Will Witherspoon will start at weakside linebacker in his place, and the lineup shuffle will result in the sixth different LB combo in 10 games for Philly this season. ( RotoWire - Fri. Nov 20, 2009)

News: Mario Manningham was a standout in today's 34-31 win over the Falcons at Giants Stadium, as he caught six passes for a game-high 126 yards. [+]
Impact: Manningham had his best game of the season since Week 2, when he caught 10 passes for 150 yards and a touchdown at rival Dallas. This was a strong effort for him while fighting with rookie Hakeem Nicks for targets in the passing game. ( Fanball - Sun. Nov 22, 2009) |
News: Brandon Jacobs had 12 carries for 39 rushing yards and a touchdown in today's 34-31 win over the Falcons at Giants Stadium. He also caught two passes for 13 receiving yards. [+]
Impact: Jacobs ended a two-game skid without reaching the endzone, and only scored three touchdowns for the season. ( Fanball - Sun. Nov 22, 2009) |
News: Eli Manning gunned down the Falcons in Sunday's 34-31 win at Giants Stadium, as he completed 25-of-39 passes for 384 yards, with three touchdowns and an interception. [+]
Impact: Manning topped 300 passing yards for the second time this season, and fired eight touchdown passes over his last four games. The former Super Bowl MVP should be up to the challenge with a tough matchup at Denver on Thanksgiving Day. ( Fanball - Sun. Nov 22, 2009)
