News: Jacobs underwent surgery to repair the torn meniscus cartilage in his right knee, the NY Daily News reports. [+]
Impact: Jacobs said everything feels good in his knee after the surgery, but he wishes he would have had the surgery early in the season instead of trying to play through the pain. "I would've got it done Week 1 and missed four or five weeks and came back and played. As the year went on I thought it was going to get better. But when I figured out it wasn't going to get better, it was too late. So I just kept going." Jacobs managed to rush for just 835 yards, five touchdowns and a 3.7 YPC average during the season. He should be healthy heading into the 2010 season. ( RotoWire - Fri. Feb 5, 2010) | |
