News: According to arrowheadpride.com, the Chiefs have added guard Mike Goff to the injury list with a shoulder issue. [+]
Impact: No one really has any clue what is exactly wrong with Goff, so the move could be precautionary. He's started 114 straight games, so it seems unlikely that he would miss this week's contest. ( Fanball - Thu. Nov 5, 2009) |
News: Branden Albert fully practiced for the second straight day Thursday, according to the Kansas City Star. [+]
Impact: Albert missed the last two games with a knee injury, but looks to have a good chance of returning Sunday at Jacksonville. He is the anchor of the Chiefs' offensive line at left tackle. ( Fanball - Thu. Nov 5, 2009) |
News: The San Diego Union-Tribune is reporting that former Chargers' receiver Chris Chambers was released by the team in part because of his tumultuous personal life. Chambers and his wife are reportedly divorcing, and he also filed a restraining order again his ex-girlfriend who was harassing his family. [+]
Impact: The off-field distractions certainly could have played a role in his dismissal from the team, but his lack of production was the main reason the team decided to part ways. If he wants to turn the page and start new with the Chiefs, he better put this whole situation behind him. ( Fanball - Thu. Nov 5, 2009)

News: Morris, who reportedly suffered a torn MCL in Week 6, could be back in a couple of weeks, the Boston Herald reports. [+]
Impact: It sounds like Morris is progressing, but he will miss the Dolphins game on Sunday and likely Week 10's game against the Colts. Either way, it sounds like he'll be back for the stretch run, so he might be worth a speculative pickup if you are looking for some long-term RB depth and have a roster spot to spare. ( RotoWire - Thu. Nov 5, 2009) |
News: Ty Warren was limited in practice Thursday after sitting out Wednesday, according to the Providence Journal. He is recovering from an ankle injury. [+]
Impact: This is encouraging regarding his availabilty for Sunday's home game against Miami. Warren is having a fine season so far with 41 tackles (31 solo) and two sacks. ( Fanball - Thu. Nov 5, 2009) |
News: Randy Moss fully practiced for the second straight day Thursday, according to the Providence Journal. [+]
Impact: Moss is not bothered by his shoulder ailment, and should be ready to go for Sunday's divisional battle with Miami. The stud receiver scored four touchdowns over four games in October. ( Fanball - Thu. Nov 5, 2009)
