News: Clark was inactive for Sunday's game against the Philadelphia Eagles because of a neck injury. [+]
Impact: Clark missed two games in September because of a cracked rib, and his neck had been bothering him when he aggravated it against San Francisco on Nov. 12. He has 11 catches for 91 yards in seven games. ( STATS - Sun. Nov 22, 2009) |
News: Clark (neck) is inactive for Sunday night's game against Philadelphia. [+]
Impact: Greg Olsen is the Chicago TE you want to own anyway, with Clark having racked up just 11 catches in seven games to date. ( RotoWire - Nov 22, 2009) |
News: The Bears promoted Bell from the practice squad Friday after placing Garrett Wolfe (lacerated kidney) on injured reserve, Chicago Breaking Sports News reports. [+]
Impact: Bell, an undrafted rookie free agent from UCLA, could see time on special teams and will move into the role of third running back behind starter Matt Forte and backup Adrian Peterson. ( RotoWire - Fri. Nov 20, 2009)

Buffalo spoils Cutler's debut with Chicago Trent Edwards has plenty to be happy about with the new-look, no-huddle offense that's working to near perfection for Buffalo.
It's a much different story for Jay Cutler and the Chicago Bears.
Those expecting Cutler to immediately transform the Bears into anything resembling a pass-happy offense had better be patient. As Cutler was inconsistent in his Bears preseason debut, the Bills' passing game was nearly unstoppable and got plenty of help from an opportunistic defense in a 27-20 victory Saturday night. News: Wood was carted off the field in the second half Sunday with a left knee injury. [+]
Impact: It looked pretty serious, as he was down on the field for a long time and it just had that look of a season-ending injury as the players saw him off the field and wished him well. A line that's already messed up just got that much worse if the first-round pick has to miss considerable time. ( RotoWire - Nov 22, 2009) |
News: Owens had a monster day in Sunday's loss to the Jaguars, catching nine balls for 197 yards and a touchdown, the longest offensive play in Bills history. [+]
Impact: Given that Owens had a 26/366/1 line for the entire season prior to Sunday, this definitely constitutes a breakout performance. The Bills targeted him all afternoon, and we'd imagine new coach Perry Fewell will keep feeding Owens so long as he can keep getting open and doesn't start dropping numerous balls again. ( RotoWire - Nov 22, 2009) |
News: Updating an earlier report, Eric Wood has a fractured tibia and fibula and is staying in Jacksonville tonight to undergo surgery, according to buffalobills.com. [+]
Impact: With six weeks left in the season its likely that Wood's injury will land him on injured reserve. ( Fanball - Sun. Nov 22, 2009)
