News: Edgar Thompson of the Palm Beach Post reports that Jason Ferguson will be placed on injured reserve with a quad injury. [+]
Impact: It's the sixth player the Dolphins have had to put on IR this season, and he is the second team captain to be lost. Randy Starks and Tony McDaniel will try to fill his void at nose tackle ( Fanball - Mon. Nov 23, 2009) |
News: According to the South Florida Sun-Sentinel, there is a strong possibility that the Dolphins will place nose tackle Jason Ferguson on injured reserve. [+]
Impact: Ferguson went down with a knee injury in Thursday's game against the Panthers, and it appears he may be lost for the season. Considering the fact that he's 34-years-old and in the final year of his contract, he may decide to hang up the spikes after this season. Look for Randy Starks and Tony McDaniel to pick up the slack on the field. ( Fanball - Sun. Nov 22, 2009) |
News: Williams suffered some kind of injury during the game against Carolina on Thursday, according to the Palm Beach Post. [+]
Impact: Coach Tony Sparano described Williams as being "dinged up," so at least this explains why Williams wasn't on the field for the crucial fourth down play in the fourth quarter with 44 seconds remaining. ( RotoWire - Sat. Nov 21, 2009) | |

"That's like getting stabbed in the heart right there," Patriots guard Logan Mankins said. Full Story
