News: According to the Dallas Morning News, Jason Witten (foot) was a full participant in Wednesday's practice. [+]
Impact: Witten has been bothered by a foot injury for weeks, but he has powered through it recently with back-to-back 100+ yard games. He's virtually a lock to play this weekend and should be in line for another solid fantasy performance against the Chargers. ( Fanball - Wed. Dec 9, 2009) |
News: The Dallas Morning News reports that tight end Martellus Bennett was held out of Wednesday's practice due to concussion symptoms. [+]
Impact: Bennett was concussed last Sunday against the Giants and with the new league rules on head injuries, he may not be cleared to play in Week 14. Regardless, he won't be missed on fantasy rosters as he has just 15 catches for 159 yards this season. ( Fanball - Wed. Dec 9, 2009) |
News: Hamlin (ankle) did not practice Wednesday, the Dallas Morning News reports. [+]
Impact: Sunday will be the third week of his original two- to four-week timetable. He'll likely need to participate in at least one day of practice this week to be able to play against the Chargers. ( RotoWire - Wed. Dec 9, 2009)

Cowboys topple Eagles for NFC East lead Miles Austin punctuated his touchdown catch by emphatically firing the ball into the stands.
Take that, Philadelphia.
Tony Romo threw a 49-yard TD pass to Austin midway through the fourth quarter and the Dallas Cowboys beat the Eagles 20-16 Sunday night in the 100th meeting between the division rivals.
On the final day of the 2008 regular season, the Eagles dominated Dallas 44-6 in a do-or-die game for both teams. Philadelphia earned a wild-card berth with that victory, won two playoff contests on the road and advanced to the NFC championship game, losing at Arizona. Full Story

News: Brian Westbrook (recovery from concussions) participated in Eagles practice for the second straight day on Thursday, according to Brian Seltzer of ESPN 950. [+]
Impact: It's obviously a good sign that he had no setbacks after taking the field on Wednesday. It is very up in the air as to whether or not he will play this weekend, but even if he does, LeSean McCoy should still handle most of the feature back duties. It's very possible that Westbrook will not be a serviceable fantasy back for the rest of the season. ( Fanball - Thu. Dec 10, 2009) |
News: The Eagles expect Jeremy Maclin (foot) to be "back and healthy" for Sunday, according to Jeff McLane of the Philadelphia Inquirer. [+]
Impact: With DeSean Jackson also nearly back to full health, the Eagles will have a full-strength receiving corps against the Giants' top-ten pass defense. ( Fanball - Thu. Dec 10, 2009) |
News: Jackson (concussion) practiced again on Thursday, the Press of Atlantic City reports. [+]
Impact: The Eagles feel good enough about Jackson's health that he is expected to return punts Sunday along with his wideout duties. ( RotoWire - Thu. Dec 10, 2009)
