News: Ware's wrist injury is actually a slight fracture, and he'll play on Sunday with a cast, the Dallas Morning News reports. [+]
Impact: Ware leads the Cowboys with eight sacks and 32 QB pressures, and it doesn't seem like his latest injury is going to hold him back too much. ( RotoWire - Sat. Dec 5, 2009) |
News: Witten (foot) is probable for Sunday's game against the Giants, the Dallas Morning News reports. [+]
Impact: Witten's foot injury is a slight concern, but not enough to warrant downgrading him for this matchup. He should be ready to go. ( RotoWire - Fri. Dec 4, 2009) |
News: Ware (foot/wrist) is listed as probable for Sunday's game against the Giants, the Dallas Morning News reports. [+]
Impact: Ware now has a wrist injury to go along with his lingering foot issues, but neither will keep him off the field Sunday in a game rife with NFC playoff implications. ( RotoWire - Fri. Dec 4, 2009)

Cowboys topple Eagles for NFC East lead Miles Austin punctuated his touchdown catch by emphatically firing the ball into the stands.
Take that, Philadelphia.
Tony Romo threw a 49-yard TD pass to Austin midway through the fourth quarter and the Dallas Cowboys beat the Eagles 20-16 Sunday night in the 100th meeting between the division rivals.
On the final day of the 2008 regular season, the Eagles dominated Dallas 44-6 in a do-or-die game for both teams. Philadelphia earned a wild-card berth with that victory, won two playoff contests on the road and advanced to the NFC championship game, losing at Arizona. Full Story

News: It seems very iffy that Brian Westbrook (concussion) will be helping fantasy owners any more this season, as Scout.com's Adam Caplan stated that the chances of Westbrook returning before Week 17 are less than 50-50. [+]
Impact: Westbrook has already been ruled out this Sunday against Atlanta, and his forecast for the next few weeks is not too bright, either. At this point, it wouldn't be ludicrous to drop Westbrook, as it doesn't appear that he'd return until Week 16 at the very earliest, and even if he did return by then, you can expect his workload to be very limited to the point where he wouldn't be worth starting. ( Fanball - Sat. Dec 5, 2009) |
News: Asante Samuel fully practiced for the second straight day Friday, according to the Eagles' official website. [+]
Impact: Samuel is dealing with a neck injury, but is probable for Sunday's game against Atlanta. The star cornerback has seven interceptions this season, and will have a good chance to add to his total against quarterback Chris Redman. ( Fanball - Fri. Dec 4, 2009) |
News: Jeremy Maclin fully practiced for the third straight day Friday, according to the Eagles' official website. [+]
Impact: Maclin is nursing an ankle injury, but is expected to play Sunday against the Falcons, who field the 27th ranked pass defense in the NFL. ( Fanball - Fri. Dec 4, 2009)
