News: Tony Romo was struggling to walk after the Cowboys' win over the Redskins on Sunday after taking a knee to the back, according to ESPN's Chris Mortensen. [+]
Impact: He has already insisted he will play on Thursday. If he does, hopefully he is better than he was on Sunday, where he completed just 15-of-27 passes for 158 yards. ( Fanball - Sun. Nov 22, 2009) |
News: Romo came out of Sunday's win over the Redskins a sore back, the Dallas Morning News reports. [+]
Impact: Romo said he took a pain-killing injection after the game, but he doesn't think the injury will keep him out of the Cowboys' Thanksgiving tilt against Oakland. ( RotoWire - Nov 22, 2009) |
News: Jones had 10 carries for 49 yards and added one catch for seven yards in Sunday's 7-6 win over Washington. [+]
Impact: Believe it or not, 10 carries represents a career high for Jones. Marion Barber was the usual workhorse for Dallas on Sunday with 20 rushes, but Jones looks like the clear-cut No. 2 as Tashard Choice had only one carry for one yard. ( RotoWire - Nov 22, 2009)

Cowboys topple Eagles for NFC East lead Miles Austin punctuated his touchdown catch by emphatically firing the ball into the stands.
Take that, Philadelphia.
Tony Romo threw a 49-yard TD pass to Austin midway through the fourth quarter and the Dallas Cowboys beat the Eagles 20-16 Sunday night in the 100th meeting between the division rivals.
On the final day of the 2008 regular season, the Eagles dominated Dallas 44-6 in a do-or-die game for both teams. Philadelphia earned a wild-card berth with that victory, won two playoff contests on the road and advanced to the NFC championship game, losing at Arizona. Full Story

News: LeSean McCoy was solid in Brian Westbrook's absence on Sunday night, carrying the ball 20 times for 99 yards and a touchdown in Philadelphia's 24-20 win over the Bears. [+]
Impact: He also lost a fumble, however. Regardless, he looks like a more than capable fill-in for Westbrook in both fantasy and real life. ( Fanball - Sun. Nov 22, 2009) |
News: Donovan McNabb came back down to Earth after throwing for 450 yards last Sunday, but still had a solid Week 11 effort, completing 23-of-32 passes for 244 yards and two touchdowns in Philadelphia's 24-20 win over the Bears. [+]
Impact: McNabb continues his solid fantasy season. He'll be going up against a stingy Washington defense next Sunday. ( Fanball - Sun. Nov 22, 2009) |
News: Asante Samuel has been forced from the Eagles' game against the Bears with a stinger, according to beat writer Geoff Mosher. [+]
Impact: His return is questionable. ( Fanball - Sun. Nov 22, 2009)
