News: Coach Jeff Fisher continued to be noncommittal on Saturday whether Harper (broken forearm) will be back on Monday night, the Tennessean reports. [+]
Impact: When Harper does return, he will be wearing a protective brace to protect his forearm that has a plate in it for healing purposes. ( RotoWire - Nov 22, 2009) |
News: Britt will be starting at receiver for the second straight game Monday, the Associated Press reports. [+]
Impact: Britt continues to get the starting nod while Justin Gage (back) is injured. Last week he only had two catches. ( RotoWire - Nov 22, 2009) |
News: Thornton (hip) is listed as questionable for Monday night's game against Houston, the Titans' official site reports. [+]
Impact: Thornton's been a lackluster fantasy play this season (41 tackles, one sack, no interceptions) and this injury makes him an even shakier option. We recommend looking for a healthier body for Week 11. ( RotoWire - Sat. Nov 21, 2009)

Titans win 2nd straight with Young at QB Chris Johnson got to perform his celebratory dance after all.
Six plays after his 81-yard touchdown run was overturned, Johnson took a pitch from Vince Young and scurried 2 yards for a go-ahead score and led the Tennessee Titans to their second straight win with a 34-27 victory over the stumbling San Francisco 49ers on Sunday.
Young showed his comeback is legitimate, outplaying fellow first-round draft pick Alex Smith down the stretch. Young has been clutch twice in as many weeks, getting the Titans (2-6) in the end zone when it mattered. Full Story

News: Smith finished 16 of 33 for 227 yards and three TDs Sunday in a 30-24 loss at Green Bay. [+]
Impact: Smith has nine TDs and seven INTs this season, and is still too risky to trust in a key fantasy spot down the stretch with playoffs looming in most leagues. ( STATS - Mon. Nov 23, 2009) |
News: Crabtree had four catches for 77 yards and his first career TD on Sunday in a 30-24 loss at Green Bay. [+]
Impact: Crabtree is proving he is the best rookie receiver, particularly with Darrius Heyward-Bey struggling across the bay in Oakland. NFL experts like Peter King criticized Crabtree for his holdout, but the Texas Tech product looks like he is having the last laugh. ( STATS - Mon. Nov 23, 2009) |
News: Davis had six catches for 108 yards and a TD on Sunday in a 30-24 loss at Green Bay. [+]
Impact: Davis bounced back from a poor performance the week before against the Bears. While some believe Davis runs his mouth too much, fantasy owners know that is how Davis motivates himself to be at his best. ( STATS - Mon. Nov 23, 2009)
