News: Smith injured his ankle in Sunday's game against the Steelers, the Associated Press reports. [+]
Impact: Jamaal Charles will get the bulk of carries Sunday, with Smith, who has just one carry for three yards, unavailable. ( RotoWire - Nov 22, 2009) |
News: Studebaker had five tackles (four solo), a half-sack and two interceptions in Sunday's overtime win over the Steelers. [+]
Impact: An injury to Mike Vrabel opened the door for Studebaker's first start of the season, and the second-year man from tiny Wheaton College in Illinois made the most of his opportunity. Vrabel may miss another couple of games, so if you're in a deep IDP league looking to take a flier on someone, Studebaker could be your guy. ( RotoWire - Nov 22, 2009) |
News: Hali had seven tackles (five solo), including a tackle for a loss in Sunday's overtime win over the Steelers. [+]
Impact: Hali got off to a hot start, but now has just 0.5 sacks in his last four games. He's only worth considering in the deepest of IDP leagues. ( RotoWire - Nov 22, 2009)

Jaguars hold off Chiefs The Jacksonville Jaguars are getting good at bouncing back from embarrassing losses.
David Garrard threw for 264 yards, including a 61-yard touchdown pass to Mike Sims-Walker, and the Jaguars rebounded from a lopsided loss at Tennessee with a 24-21 victory against Kansas City on Sunday.
Up and down all season, the Jaguars (4-4) responded in similar fashion following losses to Arizona and Seattle.
"There's only so much bouncing back you can do before there's no more bouncing to do," cornerback Rashean Mathis said. Full Story

News: Mike Sims-Walker reeled in eight receptions for 91 yards and a touchdown in the Week 11 victory over Buffalo. [+]
Impact: In the last three games, Sims-Walker has compiled 17 receptions for 287 yards and three touchdowns. In eight starts this season, the UCF product has notched six or more receptions six times and he has scored six touchdowns. Sims-Walker represents a very solid No. 2 fantasy receiver in all formats. ( Fanball - Sun. Nov 22, 2009) |
News: Maurice Jones-Drew had 25 carries for 66 yards and a touchdown in the Week 11 victory over Jacksonville. [+]
Impact: MJD also chipped in four receptions for 18 yards, but overall, this was a disappointing performance considering that he was facing a Bills defense decimated by injuries. Regardless, Pocket Hercules has scored in eight of 10 games this season, giving him a total of 13 touchdowns. ( Fanball - Sun. Nov 22, 2009) |
News: Bryan Smith exited the game against Buffalo in the second quarter with a sprained shoulder, according to Michael C. Wright's twitter page. [+]
Impact: Smith's return is questionable and we will provide information as it becomes available on the newswire. ( Fanball - Sun. Nov 22, 2009)
