News: Leigh Torrence exited the game at Tampa Bay in the fourth quarter with a seperated shoulder. [+]
Impact: At this point, the Saints are dangerously thin at cornerback and might have to sign some bodies off the street. Torrence is questionable to return. ( Fanball - Sun. Nov 22, 2009) |
News: Randall Gay exited today's game at Tampa Bay with an apparent hamstring injury. [+]
Impact: This is a tough loss for the Saints, as they are already without cornerbacks Tracy Porter and Jabari Greer. Gay's return is uncertain. ( Fanball - Sun. Nov 22, 2009) |
News: Mike Bell limped off the field in the first half of today's game at Tampa Bay. [+]

Saints struggle to top Rams, stay unbeaten Reggie Bush helped the New Orleans Saints overcome another bundle of mistakes to stay unbeaten for the best start in team history.
Bush scored twice for the first time in more than a year and Drew Brees compensated for two interceptions with two touchdown passes that allowed the Saints to escape with a 28-23 victory Sunday over the St. Louis Rams.
Courtney Roby opened the second half with a 97-yard kickoff return and Robert Meachem's 27-yard grab early in the fourth quarter gave New Orleans (9-0) just enough breathing room to tie the franchise record with nine straight wins. Full Story

News: Little (knee) is active for Sunday's game against the Cards. [+]
Impact: Feel free to use Little as you normally would on Sunday, as it's believed that he's close to 100 percent healthy again. ( RotoWire - Nov 22, 2009) |
News: Long (knee) is active for Sunday's game against the Cards. [+]
Impact: This comes as a bit of a surprise as the Rams felt he was at less than 100 percent during practice this week. Long is a risky IDP play in Week 11 given his uncertain health, but he's giving it a go if you need to deploy him. ( RotoWire - Nov 22, 2009) |
News: Rams inactives: Keith Null (third QB), DB Danny Gorrer, LB Dominic Douglas, G Roger Allen, T Phil Trautwein. G Richie Incognito, WR Jordan Kent, DT C.J. Ah You. [+]
Impact: The only key loss for St. Louis is starting right guard Incognito. ( Fanball - Sun. Nov 22, 2009) | |
