News: Johnson recorded a career-high 68 tackles and also picked off three passes in 2009. [+]
Impact: Johnson had to fight for the starting role during training camp; but he won his spot and played well despite seeing a lot of attention from opposing offenses. ( RotoWire - Wed. Jan 13, 2010) |
News: Janikowski made 26-of-29 field goals and scored 95 points for the Raiders in 2009. [+]
Impact: Janikowski had the most-accurate season of his career and did not miss a kick under 40 yards. Expect him to be the Raiders' kicker again in 2010. ( RotoWire - Wed. Jan 13, 2010) |
|
Trevor Scott (OAK) News: Scott recorded seven sacks and 43 tackles during the 2009 season. [+]
Impact: Scott was quiet early in the season, but he did most of his damage (31 tackles, five sacks) after moving to weak side linebacker in Week 12. Scott's numbers could improve even further if he stays at linebacker in 2010, so he's definitely a player to keep an eye on when training camp rolls around. ( RotoWire - Wed. Jan 13, 2010)

News: An arrest warrant has been issued for Anderson after he allegedly pulled a gun on another man, the Dallas Morning News reports. [+]
Impact: The situation is getting worse for Anderson after Tuesday morning's incident. His NFL days are likely over if there's any substance to this charge. ( RotoWire - Thu. Feb 4, 2010) |
News: Anderson was arrested early Tuesday morning, the Dallas Morning News reports. [+]
Impact: He was picked up for outstanding traffic tickets after the police arrested his brother on public intoxication charges. Although Anderson has already been released, his car was impounded and two weapons were confiscated at the scene, so there may be further legal fallout for the fullback. ( RotoWire - Wed. Feb 3, 2010) |
News: Anderson is free on his own recognizance after his arrest at a suburban restaurant parking lot. [+]
Impact: The incident happened early Tuesday in the Dallas suburb of Addison. A statement issued by the town of Addison says police answered an aggravated assault report and learned of a confrontation between several men and a parking valet. Anderson played 16 games in his third season, including nine starts, making one catch for 5 yards. Cowboys spokesman Rich Dalrymple says team officials are aware of the incident and are investigating. ( STATS - Tue. Feb 2, 2010)
