Redskins fans aren't sticking around to watch this nonsense
This is officially ugly.
The Redskins are mired in a five-game losing streak and have won just three games all season. Well, on Sunday, the team probably hit its lowest point in recent memory, as they fell behind by 28 points at halftime to the visiting Kansas City Chiefs. They ended up losing 45-10.
The fans decided not to brave the cold and headed for the exits at the intermission:
Call them fair-weather fans (pun intended) if you want, but I'm not giving them any grief over this. I wouldn't risk hypothermia to watch a team that seems to just be going through the motions until they can start making offseason tee times.
I'm not one who calls for people to be fired, but it's really hard to imagine that head coach Mike Shanahan will hold on to his job for much longer. This team is an absolute dumpster fire and something has to change immediately.
