Still buzzing over Tim Tebow's heroics? Well, get over it ... this is the NFL playoffs, and Timmy may have been the man of the wild-card hour, but the divisional round is a different animal. Here is who to watch for over the weekend. — Brian Billick

The Packers are obviously going through a tough time in their franchise with the loss of offensive coordinator Joe Philbin’s son this week, but this is a veteran-heavy team that can handle adversity. During the Ravens’ Super Bowl run in 2000 our team rallied around a similar tragedy in the death of Jermaine Lewis’ infant child, Geronimo. Jermaine went on to return two punts for touchdowns and then in the Super Bowl had a kickoff return for a touchdown that shifted all the momentum back to our sideline for the remainder of the game. | Giants-Packers: 4:30 p.m. ET, Sunday (FOX) | Playoff schedule

Reminiscent of the Super Bowl team, the Giants’ pass rush will be the difference in this game. Just like they were when they had to face the undefeated Patriots and Tom Brady, the Giants will have to pressure Aaron Rodgers and give him no time to go through his progressions. They don’t have to worry about stopping the run, but they need to be aware of screen game while they are rushing off the edges. Offensively, they should be able to get chunks of yardage against a defense that gave up more than 410 yards per game during the regular season, but in doing so, they need to protect the football. Eli Manning has been known to throw some untimely interceptions, and he can’t afford to do that in this game. The running game was revived last week, and they should turn to Brandon Jacobs and Ahmad Bradshaw once again on early downs. | Giants-Packers: 4:30 p.m. ET, Sunday (FOX) | Playoff schedule

The Niners defense against the Saints offense has been the story of the week, but I actually think the bigger story will be how Alex Smith performs in his first playoff game. Smith has been an efficient game manager for this offense, and that shouldn’t be viewed as a criticism but rather a compliment for a player that understands his role within not just the offense, but the big picture of the team. Even if the game becomes a shootout, the Niners can’t afford to break from their game plan which will be to pound away with Frank Gore and take shots downfield when available. On defense, the Smith brothers will look to provide pressure off the edge, but it will be the back half that needs to be on its game. You won’t hear me say this very often, but the punting game of Andy Lee could be a difference maker. I am on record saying that the Saints are the best team in the playoff field, and they did nothing to dissuade me of that opinion last week. Yes, the 49ers have a much better defense than the Lions, but Drew Brees is a better quarterback than the Niners are a defense. Drew Brees moves within the pocket as well as any quarterback I’ve seen and that will be vital against the 49ers’ pass rush. The Saints led the league in third-and-10 or longer conversions, and that gives them plenty of flexibility on first and second down. Because of that, the 49ers have to be ready for any play in the Saints’ playbook on any down during the game. The Saints had been missing the takeaways that drove them to a Super Bowl championship after the 2009 season, but after forcing two interceptions last week, they may be building some defensive momentum as well. | Saints-49ers: 4:30 p.m. ET, Saturday (FOX) | Playoff schedule

The Ravens will focus on stopping the run and forcing T.J. Yates to beat them through the air, but that doesn’t mean they will have to stack the box. Sure, they will have eight in the box at some point in the game, but I believe they can win that battle just playing their base defense. When they do force the Texans into a third and long situation, look for them to turn Terrell Suggs loose on the pass rush. On offense, it will be another steady dose of Ray Rice in both the run game and the screen game, but I fully anticipate Torrey Smith to be a factor in this game. The Texans defense will get sucked in by Rice and then Smith will have the opportunity to blow the top off with a long touchdown reception. | Texans-Ravens: 1 p.m. ET, Sunday (CBS) | Playoff schedule

Houston was impressive in how it was able to get to the outside of the Cincinnati defense last week, but now the Texans face the daunting run defense of the Ravens. This is a match-up of strength vs. strength with the excellent running game of Arian Foster and Ben Tate going straight into the teeth of the run-stuffing defense of Haloti Ngata and Ray Lewis. T.J. Yates is still an area of concern. Even his 40-yard touchdown pass to Andre Johnson was a floater that would have been picked off against a safety like Ed Reed. Defensively, the Texans got back to their roots by pressuring the quarterback and forcing takeaways. New England and Bill Belichick have had an entire bye week to prepare for Tim Tebow and already have a 41-23 victory under their belt. That doesn’t bode well for the Broncos. Tom Brady went 23-for-34 for 320 yards and two touchdowns in that game and there is no reason to think he can’t duplicate that performance this weekend. He will set the tone not only for his offense, but also the offense of the Broncos. By putting up points early, he will force Tim Tebow out of his comfort zone and make the Broncos have to throw it more often than they want. On defense, the Patriots need to continue to be opportunistic in the back half as they have forced nine takeaways in their past three games and have only turned it over once themselves in that same period. The quarterback always gets too much credit for a win and too much criticism for a loss, and that was the case last week in Denver. Tim Tebow threw for 316 yards, but it was Demaryius Thomas averaging more than 50 yards per reception – including the game-winner -- for a total of 204 yards and making more yards after the catch than the actual pass. The Broncos will need much more of that against the Patriots, who put up 41 points against them just four weeks ago.
