Sure, Brady Quinn has a job and will backup Russell Wilson in Seattle in 2013. That’s great. But in 2007, leading up to the draft, “experts” compared him to Carson Palmer. He was projected to be drafted in the first half of the first round, but lasted much longer in the green room at Radio City Music Hall than expected. Gholston was drafted sixth overall in the 2008 NFL Draft, and lasted with the club for four seasons. He was a workout warrior, who flashed at the combine and even repped 225 pounds 37 times. Harrell was drafted 16th overall in the 2007 NFL Draft by the Green Bay Packers. During his time in Knoxville, he made play after play, but once he arrived in Green Bay he immediately drew criticism for showing up out of shape. The Boz was selected in the 1987 supplemental draft by the Seahawks. He had tremendous buzz about him based on his colorful nature. What Mandarich became was the poster child for steroid abuse during his three-year stint with the Packers.
