Who will be the first quarterback taken in the NFL Draft? It's still probably up in the air, but West Virginia's Geno Smith is staking his claim to the honor. He did well in drills Sunday, doing the best in his position group during the broad jump and running the 40 in 4.59 seconds. Let's see which teams come calling.

The 40-yard dash is the glamour drill for wide receivers. The 2013 Combine didn't disappoint. West Virginia speedster Tavon Austin (pictured) came through with a 4.34 on Sunday, but even that was second to Marquise Goodwin, who clocked in with a 4.27. Also doing well were Cordarrelle Patterson, Da'Rick Rodgers and Ryan Swope.

Running back isn't the marquee position of old. However, several did their part to separate themselves from the pack. Christine Michael from Texas A&M ran an impressive 40 for such a big man, but it was Arkansas' Knile Davis (pictured) who raised eyebrows with his 4.37 time, which is even more impressive considering his 237 pounds. If he can avoid the injury issues that plagued him in college, he can be a steal for a team in the middle of the draft.

Football nerds will know this quarterback out of Arizona. But for the layman, Matt Scott is still a mystery. Will his read-option skills translate to the NFL? Maybe, maybe not. But there's no doubting his athletic ability after he ran 4.69 in the 40 and also did well in the 3-cone and shuttle drills.

Will Tyrann Mathieu make it in the NFL after a troubled end to his stint at LSU? We'll see, but for right now, he's walking a good path. Mathieu met with reporters on Sunday, saying to one reporter that he hasn't taken an illegal substance since October. OK, that works. Let's see if NFL scouts will give him a shot come the draft.
