| News: The 49ers will look to Williams (knee) to play an increased role in the passing attack this season now that Michael Crabtree is out with an Achilles tear, according to 49ers.com. | Impact: Williams is still recovering from a torn ACL and is not participating in the team's minicamp as of now. He is expected to be ready for the start of training camp, though, so as long as he is healthy the team will give him every opportunity to earn a bigger role.
