|News: Foster's rehabilitation from back surgery is going well, according to GM Rick Smith and coach Bill O'Brien, ESPN.com reports. "He's working hard, he's in the building, he's in the training room consistently," Smith said. "The reports I'm getting from [head trainer Geoff Kaplan] indicate he's going to be fine."
Impact: Foster's massive 2012 workload -- he touched the ball a whopping 460 times, postseason included -- raised red flags heading into 2013, and he made it though just eight games before undergoing microscopic lumbar disectomy surgery in November. Fortunately, it seems Foster will make a full recovery and resume playing in 2014, though the Texans do figure to get him a new backup with Ben Tate entering free agency.
