News: Ravens head coach John Harbaugh said Daniels will have a big role in the Baltimore offense, the Carroll County Times reports. "Just couldn't be more happy, more excited. I guarantee his role will be plenty big," Ravens coach John Harbaugh said. "He's going to have a lot to do with our success next year, and we've got a lot of big plans for him." Impact: The Ravens will likely make heavy use of two-tight end sets, but Daniels will still be hard pressed to match his production from prior years. Dennis Pitta will have a larger role in the passing game than Daniels, and the Ravens aren't exactly known for fielding prolific offenses. The team does appear to be much improved from 2013 on the offensive side, but Joe Flacco has never thrown for 4,000 yards in a season, and Daniels joins a receiving corps that already includes Pitta, Torrey Smith, and Steve Smith. It may be that Daniels' biggest fantasy impact comes from cutting into Pitta's value rather than establishing any of his own.(RotoWire, )

News: The Baltimore Ravens and Daniels have reached agreement on a 1-year contract, pending a physical. Impact: The 32-year-old Daniels broke into the league with Houston in 2007 and spent his entire career with the Texans before being cut last month. Daniels rejoins former Houston head coach Gary Kubiak, who became Baltimore's offensive coordinator during the offseason. Daniels broke his right leg last October and played in only five games. He had 24 catches for 352 yards and five touchdowns. For his career, the 6-foot-3, 249-pounder has 385 catches for 4,617 yards and 29 touchdowns.(STATS, 5:20pm)
