Deadline comes and goes
by By Jay Skurski , Buffalo News
It's now more than an hour after the NFL trade deadline of 4 p.m. and still no word of any moves at One Bills Drive.
Deals can sometimes be made official after the deadline, but so far all signs point to the Bills standing pat. Last season, the Bills traded defensive tackle John McCargo to the Colts at the deadline, only to have the deal rescinded days later when McCargo flunked his physical. It's surprising the Bills didn't make a move this year given the fact Roscoe Parrish was held out of Sunday's game, especially after reading Dick Jauron's comments on the decision.
If Jauron is being genuine about wanting to get Stevie Johnson into the lineup, and second-year wideout James Hardy is ready to come off the physically unable to perform list, that seems to leave little room for Roscoe.
