PHILADELPHIA (AP) - Eagles running back Brian Westbrook was inactive for Sunday's game against the Dallas Cowboys, the second straight game he'll miss with a concussion.

Westbrook missed the Eagles' rout of the Giants last week with a concussion sustained a week earlier in a victory over Washington. Coach Andy Reid said this week that Westbrook should be "good to go" against Dallas.

Eagles trainer Rick Burkholder says Westbrook started experiencing symptoms of a mild headache on Friday. Westbrook underwent more tests and the Eagles held him out as precaution.

"Even though those tests were determined to be negative, we all thought it would be in the best interests of Brian and the team that he should be deactivated for tonight's game," Burkholder said. "We will continue to evaluate Brian this week."

Westbrook has 197 yards rushing this season.

Other notable inactives for the Eagles are starting linebacker Chris Gocong (quadricep, hamstring); wide receiver Kevin Curtis (knee); defensive end Victor Abiamiri (knee); and guard Max Jean-Gilles (shoulder).

Dallas was without kick returner Allen Rossum (hamstring).
