Scott recorded 4.5 sacks and 37 tackles in 2003. Scott's greatest strength is his speed, which allows him to explode off the line and slip past bulky linemen to penetrate the backfield. He has excellent closing speed when pursuing the quarterback. His athleticism includes a 35-inch vertical leap. Scott uses this athleticism to make up for his size, which could cause problems for him, especially inside against larger opponents. He needs to work on using his hands when attempting to shed blockers. Some NFL scouts may be concerned with shoulder injuries that persisted during his four-year college career.
