Williams has the quickness and athleticism to be a big playmaker. His speed gives him the potential to be an outstanding blitzer and a great special teams threat in the NFL. Williams led Nebraska in 2003 with 11 sacks and piled up 128 tackles. His superior instincts make him very good in coverage as well. However, he lacks the size necessary to take on NFL blockers. He will need to improve his strength to be an effective outside linebacker at the next level. Williams may be better suited as a strong safety due to his speed and acceleration capabilities.
