The New England Patriots star suffered a torn ACL and MCL in his left knee, the Boston Globe reported Wednesday on its Web site, citing unnamed sources. The MRI, which was performed Monday, did not show any damage to other knee ligaments and no torn cartilage, the newspaper said.
According to the report, the typical course of action is to wait for the MCL tear to heal a process that generally takes 4-6 weeks and then to perform ACL reconstruction surgery. It usually takes 6-9 months to rehab from that surgery, which means Brady could theoretically be ready to go when training camps begin in July.

I still get a smile on my face every time I see the words Brady & season ending injury in the same sentence. Gives him more time to "take care" of that so called girl friend. Will have to be a lot of "cowgirl" activities tho!

FNR:
Is that the "Fools Gold Rush to Obscurity"?
Just curious...

By the way, I can tell you how to make the posts work, but I think I'll just sit here and enjoy knowing he CAN'T post instead...

Don't fret, the Niners are just in a rebuilding Decade. They'll be a contender again, say around 2015.

True fans are fans of the game and not the injuries. All these tools in here rejoicing over Brady's injuries are pathetic!
I, for one, wish him a full and speedy recovery. Want him back in next year so we can settle a score or two!

Oh, and Pothead, or whatever your name is....the Pariots didn't have a Pro Bowl RB last year. Get your facts straight before you start flapping your lips and making yourself look and sound as idiotic as your namesake. Go punch yourself in the manpleaser.

FinFanloser4ever :
Glad you showed your true human side here. Maybe you should go buy some season tix to the fish games; they're probably pretty cheap. Better yet, if you want to see some real football, go to a local high school game down there; that is if you even live there or ever have.
When Matt Cassel torches your pathetic team that's won 1, I SAID ONE, game in the past 2 seasons, total, maybe you'll understand that it doesn't matter who's chucking the ball against awful teams like the baitfish dolphins, or should we just call them the mullets?
HA HA HA. You like men (apparently Channing Chowder). 3MTA3. I taste great, ask yo mama.

When the Pats were winning The Media made out Belicheck to be a genius. Now with Brady gone let us see just what kind of Genius he was. You will find out that Brady was the genius instead

Curt Schilling is a lying piece of p/ucking
c r a p. What he knows about NY fans is THIS MUCH.
I am a die hard, bleeding pinstrips Yankee fan and I can say with 100% honesty that I didn't hear one of my freinds make a comment about Tom Brady getting hurt. I did, however, hear all the Cowboy fans at work talk smack. As I told my Red Sox buddy, Ask the Cowboy fans who bust your sac when's the last time they won a playoff game. game over.
As a wicked huge Giant fan, I would much rather have Tom around to sack 6 more times. Without not playing, it just makes it a little less sweet.

tom brady is facing a serious uphill battle to regain his form and fitness, but if there is a player and an organization that can bounce back from this type of adversity, it's brady and the patriots. carson palmer was able to do it although i'm not sure if their injuries were the same. good luck tom

Tom Brady will come back better and stronger. I would know. I tore my ACL last year and I feel better and I feel a lot stronger. Its a huge injury... but just a minor setback. With that said; I am not a Tom Brady or Patriots fan. I in fact hate them. But when I heard this, it sucks and i did feel bad. WIth everyone out there taht says hes awful.. Tom brady is amazing. He will be back. Im out... GO GIANTS

Potsy2

You are obviously as stupid as your name sake.

Tom Brady is not that good?

Do you realize he won 3 SB with an offense whos recievers DO NOT PLAY IN THE LEAGUE ANYMORE?

He was 2 minutes from making a 4th SB with Reche Caldwell as his #1 reciever?

He has a winning % over his career of 78.9%, he has lost just 3 playoff games in 6 years?

Granted the NE Defense has been superb for a long time, not just ANY QB pulls that iff, infact Puketon Manning does not even come close.

Potsy2, you have no idea what you are talking about. End of it. Brady has a different set of weapons almost every season, and he still won Superbowls. They dont give the MVP to just anyone. Do your homework and learn a thing or two. Until then....shhhhhhhhhh.

potsy,ur a fri g in m or on if you believe hes not as good.look what he did all those yrs with avereage receivers.now he has elite receivers and he sets record u i d iot.yea the o line definately helps, but he is the best at what he does.without question, wake up and smell the coffee and dont be such a jealous fool.

Cigarczar.........Jay Cutler is a very good young QB. is he as talented as Brady sure. Not as proven yet but give the guy a little credit. Great teams win Super bowls. Great players who play on great teams Win Super Bowls but all this whining about Brady is friggin silly. Elway played his entire career w/o an acl. If the Patsies are a graeat team then it really doesn't matter if 1 man goes down.
