Falcons over Packers — Glazer: "It was all about injuries and how much Green Bay's defense was hurting. When I looked at the center of that Packers defense -- DE Cullen Jenkins, S Atari Bigby, LB A.J. Hawk -- the entire gut of that defense was either hurt or leaking. Falcons QB Matt Ryan is a rookie, and you need a pass rush against a rookie. But I thought Ryan and RB Michael Turner were going to have a pretty good day."

Dolphins over Chargers — Schrager: "The Dolphins had beaten the Chargers seven straight times, were coming off a bye week to perfect that wacky Wildcat formation, and riding high for the first time since the Marino era. There was no way San Diego stood a chance. I'm not even sure if that was really an upset at all."

Steelers over Jaguars — Hasenmayer: "This was a tough call, but ultimately this is not the same Jaguars defense as we've seen over the past 2-3 seasons. Even with the Steelers playing without their top 38 running backs (a mild exaggeration), Big Ben has raised his game and still had plenty of weapons to beat the Jags."

49ers over Patriots — Glazer: "Based upon New England's previous game and San Francisco's previous game, I thought that 49ers offensive coordinator Mike Martz would be able to carve up the Patriots defense, which looked real old against Miami in Week 3. I try to go outside the box a little ... some work, some don't."
