Browns interview Patriots' McDaniels
by MIKE REISS , The Boston Globe
Meanwhile, McDaniels's interview with the Broncos will be held in New England. The Broncos also have plans to interview Spagnuolo, Cowboys offensive coordinator Jason Garrett, and Buccaneers defensive backs coach Raheem Morris. Oklahoma University coach Bob Stoops is also reportedly under consideration.
Meanwhile, there was little movement regarding Patriots vice president of player personnel Scott Pioli. Pioli has not yet interviewed with the Chiefs, and until that meeting takes place - which could be this weekend - there is unlikely to be a resolution.
Pioli met with Lerner Wednesday, and is considered a leading candidate to lead Cleveland's Football operation.
Lerner has met with only one other general manager candidate, Browns director of player personnel T.J. McCreight. Falcons president Rich McKay was scheduled to interview Thursday, but that meeting was postponed.
