Jan. 6--The Lions' search for a new coach continues, while quarterbacks coach Scot Loeffler appears headed for Florida and former coach Rod Marinelli reportedly visits Seattle.

Vikings defensive coordinator Leslie Frazier, Falcons offensive coordinator Mike Mularkey, Dolphins secondary coach Todd Bowles and Ravens defensive coordinator Rex Ryan can be interviewed this week.

All had playoff games over the weekend and could not be interviewed last week under NFL rules.

The Lions have interviewed Giants defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo and Titans defensive coordinator Jim Schwartz, whose teams had first-round byes, and Redskins secondary coach Jerry Gray, whose team missed the playoffs.

It is unclear whether Cowboys offensive coordinator Jason Garrett is a candidate. He reportedly has removed his name from consideration, but some say that is untrue.

Another name popped up Monday: Stanford coach Jim Harbaugh, who played quarterback at Michigan and spent time with the Lions before the 2001 season. Nationalfootballpost.com listed the Lions as one of three teams interested in him.

Lions officials have said they will not confirm candidates.

Loeffler is expected to be named Florida's quarterbacks coach, the Gainesville Sun reported. He just finished his first season as the Lions' QB coach after leaving Michigan, for which he once recruited Gators quarterback Tim Tebow.

"He's a very good guy, a very good recruiter and a very good quarterback coach in terms of fundamentals, work ethic and character," Tebow told the Sun. "That's why I looked at Michigan so hard."

Loeffler and Lions president Tom Lewand did not respond to messages. Loeffler has been mentioned for many jobs, but he remains under contract with the Lions. The day after the season, he said: "As of right now, I still work for the Detroit Lions . That's all I know."

Marinelli, who already has visited the Bears, visited the Seahawks, according to reports. Marinelli knows people in both organizations from his previous coaching stop, Tampa Bay.
