Wide receiver Brandon Jones has left the Tennessee Titans to sign with San Francisco.

Jones received a five-year, $16.5 million contract with $5.4 million guaranteed.

Jones is coming off his best season with Tennessee, which is where he played his first four NFL seasons. Jones caught a career-high 41 passes for 449 yards and one touchdown while starting seven of 16 games.

The 49ers were in the market for a veteran wide receiver with 36-year-old Isaac Bruce contemplating retirement and Bryant Johnson likely to leave as an unrestricted free agent.

The Titans are seeking to bolster their wide receiver corps in free agency. The Tennessean reported that Pittsburgh's Nate Washington is slated to take a free-agent visit, although he is also being heavily pursued by Detroit.
