Titans also in awe of new stadium

The Cowboys weren't the only ones excited about christening Cowboys Stadium.

"It was awesome," Titans defensive end Kyle Vanden Bosch said at halftime. "It was a lot of fun opening up this place. This is a great stadium. Not only should the fans be excited, but so should the NFL and all the players as well.

"It was a great atmosphere here tonight."

Rookie injured again: Fourth-round pick Brandon Williams suffered a left knee sprain in the third quarter while covering a punt. He missed last week's preseason opener at Oakland with sore shoulders, injuries that also forced him to miss more than a week of camp at the Alamodome.

The Cowboys are counting on Williams to provide depth at outside linebacker and make an immediate contribution on special teams. He played defensive end at Texas Tech.

New route: The Cowboys route onto and off of the field has changed.

At Texas Stadium, the players used a tunnel behind one of the end zones. At Cowboys Stadium, they walk through the concourse with fans on either side of them and then enter through an opening at the 50-yard line.
