Report: Falcons' White given paternity suit

Published Dec. 8, 2011 12:00 a.m. ET

A Georgia banker has lodged court documents claiming that Falcons star wide receiver Roddy White is the father of her 4-month-old baby boy and should pay her a considerable amount of child support, TMZ reported.

"[White] is a professional athlete capable of providing generous support for the minor child commensurate with his earnings," Georgia woman Stacey Hott said in her paternity suit.

Hott also requested that White take out a life insurance policy for himself, for the "benefit of the minor child," the entertainment website reported Thursday.

White's agent, Jonathan Feinsod, declined to comment about the lawsuit to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution on Thursday.

White, who has been named to the last three Pro Bowls, signed a six-year, $48 million deal with the Falcons in August 2009.
