Report: Lynch lands role in dark comedy
Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch is set to hit the silver screen after signing on to play a role in "Matt's Chance," a dark comedy being filmed in Seattle, NWCN.com reported.
The movie is centered around a young cowboy who is betrayed by his girlfriend, sending him into a downward spiral.
Lynch, who became a $31 million man when he signed a four-year deal with the Seahawks earlier in this month, will have Lee Majors, who played Steve Austin in "The Six Million Dollar Man" TV series, as a co-star.
Other cast members include Edward Furlong from "Terminator 2: Judgment Day," Gary Busey of "Point Break" and Margot Kidder, who played Lois Lane in four Superman films between 1978 and 1987.
It was not clear when the film, which was written and is being directed by Seattle filmmaker Nicholas Gyeney, would be completed and released.
There was no word, either, on what part Lynch would play.
