Miami Dolphins wide receivers Brian Hartline and Mike Wallace continue to be slowed by injuries, though both said Thursday they hope to play Sunday in the Hall of Fame Game.

Hartline returned to practice on a limited basis Thursday afternoon, taking part only in some individual drills. He wore a compression sleeve around his left calf.

Wallace spent practice working with a trainer or watching from the sideline.

Coach Joe Philbin said no decision had been made as to their status Sunday against the Dallas Cowboys.

''We'll see,'' Philbin said. ''We have to get through the practice week and see how everything is. We'll finalize our play time the best we can on Saturday after we finish up the practice week, and we'll see where we are at.''

Neither Hartline nor Wallace participated in the team's scrimmage Monday night after doing position drills. Hartline sat out practice Wednesday, while Wallace took part only on a limited basis.

''Feeling pretty good, feel like it's getting there,'' Wallace told reporters after practice Thursday. ''A lot more strength in my groin.''

When asked how badly he wanted to play against Dallas, Wallace replied: ''Bad. This is a new situation for me, so I just want to get out there and feel it out, get with my new teammates and have a great time.''

Absent from practice Thursday were guards John Jerry and Brian Thomas, along with wide receiver Rishard Matthews. Rookie Caleb Sturgis kicked Wednesday night for the first time in a week and ended the practice by making a 42-yard field goal.
