--In eight of the Giants' 12 games this season, the opponent's leading receiver has been a tight end. In fact, opposing tight ends who have led their respective teams in receiving against New York have combined for 48 catches for 540 yards, or approximately 44 percent of the total yardage surrendered by the Giants' pass defense.

Most recently, Dallas' Jason Witten, who earlier in the year led the Cowboys with five catches for 33 yards, posted the best numbers to date by an opposing tight end, catching 14 balls for 156 yards.

Things won't get any easier for the Giants this week. Eagles TE Brent Celek leads his team with 56 receptions for 617 yards and six touchdowns.

The last time Celek played against New York, he had four catches for 61 yards and a touchdown.

--Last week, Philadelphia QB Michael Vick had one of his most productive games for the Eagles, rushing four times for 17 yards and a touchdown and completing both of his passes for 48 yards and a touchdown.

The Giants, though, don't seem too concerned about Vick's running threat out of the Wildcat formation.

"We're aware that he's running the ball more than he's passing it, but we don't' treat him any differently than Donovan (McNabb)," said CB Terrell Thomas. "We don't treat him like a running back; we treat him like a quarterback."

BY THE NUMBERS: 11 -- The number of consecutive games (including Super Bowl XXII) that the Giants have won when DE Justin Tuck has had at least one sack.
