Babin's possessions, shotguns swiped

Published Oct. 9, 2011 1:00 a.m. ET

Jason Babin and his family are living in an empty house after their possessions, including eight shotguns, were stolen from storage, the Philadelphia Eagle told TMZ.

The defensive end said that the storage company helping him move from Texas to Philadelphia for the start of his first season with the Eagles failed to deliver his goods, claiming that they were lost in a robbery.

The company, Houston Movers R' Us, did not respond to subsequent enquiries by Babin and TMZ, the celebrity website said.

Babin filed a police report, which includes the serial numbers for several guns, and was planning to return to Texas to pursue the matter.
