Rams to start Bulger for now

will start at quarterback for the St. Louis in next Monday night's game against the Chicago , but only because isn't physically able, coach Mike Martz said Monday. Martz said the ' medical staff has advised him that Warner's broken right pinkie is not sufficiently healed to warrant starting him, but that it's anticipated that he would be 100 percent healthy for a Nov. 24 game against the Washington . The play of Bulger, who passed for 453 yards in Sunday's 28-24 victory over San Diego, has led to speculation that Warner's job as the ' starter might be in jeopardy. Martz dismissed that in his weekly news conference Monday. "If (Warner) is healthy and 100 percent, he's our quarterback," Martz said. "That's a real easy decision for me. Kurt's going to be our quarterback here for a long time." Martz said that running back , who suffered a sprained ankle and strained tendon against the , is likely to miss next Monday night's game against Chicago, but that injuries are not believed to be serious.
