Offense rank: 12 (354 ypg). Defense rank: 21 (350 ypg). Offensive leader: RB Maurice Jones-Drew reached 1,000 yards in a season for the first time in his career. Jones-Drew is just the second Jaguar (joining Fred Taylor) to produce a 1,000-yard season. Defensive leader: LB Daryl Smith had six tackles and a quarterback hit against the 49ers. Smith has had 100-tackle seasons in four consecutive years. Streaks: The Jaguars have dominated time of possession enough to have run 60 plays or more on offense in four consecutive games. Texans (5-6) Coach: Gary Kubiak. Record: 27-32. Last week: Lost to Colts 35-27. Key stat: The Texans have lost five games this season by five points or fewer. Offense rank: 8 (374 ypg). Defense rank: 17 (334 ypg). Offensive leader: WR Andre Johnson hasn't had a 100-yard game since early November. He needs 55 yards against the Jaguars to reach 1,000 receiving yards for the season for the fourth time. Defensive leader: LB Brian Cushing appears to be making a case for defensive rookie of the year. Cushing picked off Colts QB Peyton Manning for his third interception of the season. In addition, Cushing has been Houston's leading tackler in five consecutive games. Streaks: The Texans have lost three games in a row, and their last four against AFC South foes. 5 QUESTIONS WITH ... QB David Garrard Although this was a difficult loss, are you still upbeat about where the team can go from here? I still feel great about our team. Even though this game was disappointing, it was one game. Unfortunately, we've had games like that before where we didn't do enough. How do you get past this game? I expect us to come out this week and play hard, knowing that we have this bad taste in our mouths. We're ready to get it out. What happened on that intentional-grounding penalty called on you in the first half? That was something I should've done better myself. I had an opportunity for one of those quick slants, and they played Torry [Holt] inside real heavy. I should have seen that or maybe gone to the other side with it, or maybe gotten rid of it earlier. I'm not sure, but that's something that should have been better. Ultimately, what lost this game for the Jaguars on offense? On third downs and in the red zone, we didn't show up on either one of them - plain and simple. We have to execute when we have the ball in our hands. I have to do a better job of taking care of the ball, knowing that people are around me, by either tucking it away or getting the ball out faster. Maurice Jones-Drew had just five rushing attempts in the first half. Do you think this team should've tried to run the ball more in the first half?
