Report: Bucs assistant charged with DUI

Tampa Bay Buccaneers assistant coach Jayson Kaiser was arrested early Wednesday on suspicion of drunk driving, the St. Petersburg Times reported.

Kaiser, 37, was pulled over shortly after midnight Wednesday when police spotted him driving with his headlights off. According to police, Kaiser was slurring his speech, had bloodshot eyes and smelled of alcohol.

Kaiser reportedly refused to take a field sobriety test or submit to a Breathalyzer test after denying that he had been drinking. Kaiser was being held on $500 bail and his car was impounded.

Kaiser frequently drives Bucs head coach Raheem Morris to events, according to the report, but Morris was not in the vehicle at the time. Kaiser's title with the Bucs is assistant to the head coach.

It is the third arrest of a member of the organization over the past few months. The team's pro scouting coordinator Shelton Quarles, a former Bucs linebacker, was arrested March 4 on suspicion of drunk driving.

Bucs cornerback Aqib Talib was charged with felony assault with a deadly weapon late last month after a domestic dispute in Texas in which he allegedly fired a gun at his sister's boyfriend.
