Reaction from readers after the Jaguars' 30-13 loss at Tennessee on Sunday: How can a pro team play as poorly as the Jags have most of this season? And is there a worst safety in the NFL than Reggie Nelson, even though he is a former Gator and No. 1 draft pick? Roger, Jacksonville Reggie Nelson is a boy in a man's world. Not only can he not cover, he is afraid to tackle somebody. We have the most pathetic secondary in our division. We can make even Vince Young look good. Pickett, Callahan The only reason Bernie Madoff gets credit for the greatest scam in the history of mankind is because nobody outside of Jacksonville has ever heard of Reggie Nelson. I guess there is an advantage to being a small-market team. Dick, Jacksonville I'm a 65-year-old woman and have followed the Jags since the beginning. When coach Del Rio wears black you can bet on either a sorry or losing game. Please, Jack, start wearing teal or white. Kay, Jacksonville Beach Where is our D-line? We couldn't sack my mother. Our anemic pass rush makes a second-rate Vince Young look like a quarterback. And Weaver wonders why his seats are empty. Larry, Jacksonville Hello, Jack. This is the fourth time that I have started this MMQB spew. I still can't get a real grip on what I watched today. Just horrible! Buddy, Ponte Vedra Beach Wow! They are who we thought they were. Young, inconsistent and unpredictable! Losing to a division opponent that lost there last game 59-0, may affect upcoming home attendance. John, Jacksonville Looks like Del Rio has the troops ready to play coming out of the bye week again. So glad his hands are all over the defense. No sacks again, little pressure, poor tackling, and Reggie Nelson diving at somebody's feet again. Another blown opportunity to improve the record against a winless team. Nice coaching job Jack. Time for change. Don, Fleming Island The jury is no longer out, these Jaguars are OVERRATED. Tim, Southside Pathetic ... no heart on defense ... no passion... just plain bad all the way around. Not a good effort ... not a good team. Note to Jags fans: Tennessee is 0-6 and sold out their game. Steve, Jacksonville Congrats to Jones-Drew, outstanding effort. However, the glass is still half empty. Rick, Jacksonville Mr. Weaver, the whole problem to the tickets not selling out, and not winning games is Del Rio. He can't coach. So lets go ahead and solve that problem and show him out the door. Wes, Lake City We live in Alabama and pay for the Football package to watch the Jaguars game and so far it hasn't been worth what I pay. Where is our defense? Jones-Drew can't carry the team all the time. Jerry, Dothan, Ala. As a 15-year season ticket holder who has only missed 3 games in 15 years, I am appalled. They all should be fired, except for Drew. An absolute joke of a game. Geno, Atlantic Beach How can the Jaguars make a quarterback who has not played in a year look so good? I would take Young over Garrard today. Or least I would take their pass rush against our pass rush. Larry, Jacksonville I KNEW the Jags would hand the Titans their first win of the season. How can a pro team have no pass rush at all? Thank God for MoJo. The only shining light on the team. Steve, Jacksonville Jack, please learn to be a motivator. Good coaches are good motivators. If you can not motivate your team to play on Sunday, you will not be a good coach. Almost losing to a team without a win and losing to a team without a win, shows your inability to motivate. Buy some tapes, talk to those who have succeeded before you. Wesley, Jacksonville I have been betrayed. I have had an almost childlike faith in David Garrard and Jack Del Rio, constantly making excuses as to why one of them failed. I'm sorry to admit, they're both failures. Roy, Orange Park Let's see - a quarterback that can't be effective if the opposition is, an offensive line that plays like they miss the bye week, and a defensive coordinator that seems to tell the defense "take the day off." Eric, St. Augustine The Jaguars have ensconced themselves in the worst of all possible postures: maddening mediocrity. They continue to exhibit just enough legitimacy to appease and encourage their diminishing fan base while at the same time not providing their detractors with enough fodder to fuel outright collective disappointment. Show us something - anything. Give the community a product with substance on which our collective support can be validated. Jim, Jacksonville Fire Jack Del Rio. This is the second year in a row we have come off the bye week and lost to a team without a win. Del Rio cannot get his team ready to play. Lets get a coach in there who won't have the same excuse every Tuesday. John, Charlotte, N.C. What can I say? My team frustrates me to no end but I'll still be in the stands next week to cheer them on. I can't help it. I love em! Go Jags! Forget about this one. Beat the Chiefs! Shelley, Jacksonville Well, if it wasn't for Mojo's two great plays we would have been zilch. Joanie, Jacksonville I bet the Jags tanked this game to improve their draft position in order to get Tebow. How else can they explain the atrocious performance today? Jose, Hialeah This is the worst of times with losses to Seattle and Tenn., and had to go into overtime with another winless team. I have no respect for the operation of this team. I am retired military and it is not always about players. It has a lot to do with leaders and the heart of people. Cortez, Orlando
