College student: Foster got me pregnant, trying to force me into abortion

Texans All-Pro Arian Foster is being sued by a Houston woman who claims the running back and his brother have been harassing her in an effort to convince her to get an abortion, according to multiple reports.

Brittany Norwood, a 20-year-old senior at the University of Houston, told TV station KHOU that she did not realize Foster, 27, is married with a daughter when the two had sex last summer during Texans training camp. Norwood also claims the pair spent a week together in California, while Foster recovered from back surgery, and sent photos of them together to TMZ.

Both TMZ and KHOU reached out to representatives of Foster, with KHOU reporting that Foster's attorney said he would not comment while the matter is pending in court.

Late Tuesday, KHOU reported that a Houston judge ordered both Norwood and Foster to stay away from one another until the legal matter is resolved, with a hearing on the restraining order set for Wednesday.

According to KHOU, Norwood said that when she told Foster she was pregnant, both Foster and his brother Abdul began telling her and sending her texts that she could not have the child.

"He's like, 'You can't have this, you can't have this kid, like, we cannot bring a child into this, like, think about my kids,'" Norwood told the station.

She added that Foster began sending text messages urging her to end the pregnancy, one reading, "You just can't bring a life into this world under these circumstances. It's not fair to anyone. It's not just about you."

Norwood told the station one of the texts sent by Abdul Foster read in part, "You know, if you loved Arian at all you would have an abortion because this child is going to ruin everything. . . . Like, our whole family will never accept this child."

The baby is due in June, Norwood said, adding that Foster has not gone with her on one doctor visit and has not helped with medical bills.

"I'm 20, I'm scared, I'm another single mom," she said, crying.

Along with the TRO asking for Foster to stop harassing Norwood, attorney Douglas York told KHOU that he wants the court to force Foster to submit to a DNA test in an effort to prove he is the father.

It is unclear what financial award, if any, Norwood is seeking. Foster has run for 5,063 yards and 45 touchdowns in five seasons, all with the Texans. He led the NFL with 1,616 yards rushing in 2010 had three consecutive 1,000-yard seasons before injuries limited him to just 542 yards in eight games this past season. The Texans finished with the NFL's worst record at 2-14, ending the season on a franchise-record 14-game losing streak.
