Ochocinco unveils Week 1 TD stunt
Should he score in the team's Sept. 12 opening game in New England, Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Chad Ochocinco tweeted Tuesday that he will use one of the Patriot minutemen's rifles in his celebration.
"If i am able to score week 1 in New England i will be taking the minute men rifle and firing as they do when the PATS score," Ochocinco tweeted Tuesday night.
The Patriots traditionally have Minutemen behind each end zone during home games. The soldiers mock fire their rifles after the Patriots score.
Ochocinco has been on the receiving end of several fines from NFL commissioner Roger Goodell, including a $25,000 penalty this month for tweeting during a preseason game.
In December 2009, Ochocinco was fined $30,000 for donning a poncho and a sombrero after a touchdown against Detroit. That incident came on the heels of a $20,000 fine by the NFL for pretending to bribe an official by taking out a $1 bill during an instant replay review.
